Capture territory and natural resources that are not your own.
If people don’t roll over and let you have your way, why
just nuke them.

I know history is a tough one for you but it was Ukraine who were shelling and killing cuvilians, and still are, because they were ethnic Russians.
Russia invaded to stop the genocide that many many Ukrainians were promoting in public and on tv.
In 2013, before any Maiden protests even, Ukraine had huge Nazi marches and shouted “hang all the russians”. Children kicked Russian flags in front of the march.
Teen Ukr kids made videos of themselves brandishing knives and talking about wanting to kill Russians.
Putin let 8 yrs of this happen, during which he prepared for war with us. Russia and China made huge dollar dumps just before the invasion, and China is doing another now.
Russia now has gold backed currency and no debt.
Russia and China have financial systems in place to replace swift.
This country is nearing what we always wanted with Trump, a country about America.
