It's surprising that such a safe and effective vaccine would do such an awful thing. I'm curious as to what his position on mandates is. (If someone other than he was in the same situation, would he allow the person to make his or her own decision, in the absence of a consensus on the topic, or would he demand the person take the shot?)

My mother had treatable cancer and seemed to have success with it until she got her booster shot and her cancer quickly went into overdrive, spreading through her lungs, breasts, abdomen, brain and stomach in a matter of weeks.
I miss my mom.

"Covid" (or Fed.gov response to it) was a generational event - global shutdowns, economic dislocation, mandated unproven vaccines. Society will be analyzing medical, political and economic effects for at least 50 years.

There’s some research suggesting that the vaccines suppress T-cell immunity.
If so, it’s plausible that we’ll see a spike in incidence of cancer and cancer-caused deaths.
This comes on top of two years of reduced screening and delayed treatments due to CoVid19 .

Guy at work bragged about getting his vax early. Then got cancer. Went to double down with a booster and dang, cancer took off. Treatment finally put it in remission for now.
His daughter got the vax at his insistence, and miscarried less than a week later. Got the booster, and now can’t get pregnant again.
Sometimes there is no fixing stupid.
