Probably not a popular opinion but from the facts that were laid out in the article I fail to see how any of this has to do with her stance on the vaccine. The facts are clear, she left the base for 20 days without getting approval to do so, that is desertion. Her reasons for it don’t matter, she had the option of going through channels and decided not to do so because she didn’t want the hassle. This is someone who doesn’t belong in the armed forces and it’s really that simple. Her stance on the vax is immaterial and is just being used as a hail mary by her defense.
First off...she’s not an officer.She’s an NCO.
You would think the Navy would have bigger things to do, like keeping large ships from burning while docked in port.
