New Jersey’s clear and unobstructed views of the Atlantic Ocean from its beautiful and pristine shorelines will soon end. New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy intends to build America’s largest wind turbines off the coast of the Jersey Shore from Long Beach Island south to Cape May.

He damn near lost last year. Took two week after election before it was called. The head of the senate, Sweeny, lost his seat to a guy who spent a total of 2 thousand dollars on his campaign.

He would have lost if the GOP took NJ seriously and pumped some $$$ into NJ.

I wonder if they would go for oil platforms instead! Of course not. The Garden Pit state.

Left 50 years ago, went back once to attend a relatives funeral. WWII Naval Aviator. When they played the recorded message from Obama, I was expecting him to rise up saying Not on Your Watch.

No worries. China will just dig a few more lithium mines. Those mines can’t be seen from New Jersey, so it’s all good.

Don’t get me wrong, I think this windmill thing, is nonsense. We have some out here in Westport, Washington about 1/4 mile from the beach. They’re eyesores and most times several are not rotating.

My question is, doesn’t the North Atlantic have numerous offshore drilling platforms that withstand the nasty elements? Seems like American engineering could design some windmills that could withstand the weather too?

And we don’t have to worry about the birds anymore, either.

Good. Let the Libs stare at their own folly of wind power. I’m sick and tired of Liberals demanding solar and wind, but also demanding that it not obstruct their views from their summer estates and Vineyard Mansions.

I actually like this idea. Will be a great boon for the local fishing industry. It’s definitely windy enough. I’m just curious on how the wealthy beachfront home owners are going to react. Plus, how will this impact the channels where shipping comes into New York City?

While they are at it, they should put radiation detectors on the windmills to monitor any ships coming in which might have nuclear material in them.

They don't want it to work. They need chaos so they can be our "savior" by taking our freedoms and money away.

Can’t we just go nuclear, tell the lefties this is what they wanted and let it go at that? They cannot tell us what alternative energy resources to develop, but without nuclear power in the mix, they will never get to green.

Wasn’t it the Kennedys who blocked wind turbines when the Mass. governor wanted to put them off of Hyannis Port?

Because it blocked their pristine view of the ocean.

Another area that needs an infusion of “immigrants” from the border.

What’s in it for him? Seems politicians love wind turbines that generate money for them. Not us.
Just in a hot summer day at the beach the wind stops about the time of peak demand.

Hope they are building a coal plant for every ten of these useless windmills.

They certainly are in China.
