Baltic Pipe started flowing gas today, and by New Year's Day it will be up to a rate of 10 bcm/year, totally replacing the amount that Poland used to import from Russia.

We are about six weeks from the huge Freeport LNG export terminal in Texas starting up, which will increase US export capacity about 25%.

“Putin uses Russian energy as a weapon to destabilise Europe, to divide us. He cannot be allowed to succeed,” Ms Frederiksen said, referring to the Russian president.

Damn Putin for putting all of those sanctions on the Europeons.

Congratulations, Poland and Norway.
Now, be prepared for a fusillade of attempts to sabotage and/or destroy your new pipeline. Be ready!

The Poles were a lot smarter than the Germans.

First the Poles significantly increased their gas storage capacity and filled it.

Then the Poles signed built an LNG terminal.

Then the Poles secured a long term LNG contract with America.

Then the Poles secured a long term gas supply contract with Norway and built a pipeline.

They started all of this years ago.

Look at the Germans desperately scrambling now....after shutting down half their nuclear power plants and scheduling to shut down the remaining ones so they’re all the more desperate.

“The Danish military has released volatile footage of a mysterious, frothing disturbance in the Baltic Sea in the vicinity of the Nordstream pipelines.”

I would assume that this is connected, no? Does that video show what happens when a pipe ruptures? Sure looks like it...

Baltic Pipe is 10 billion cubic meters per year. Nord Stream 1 was 55 billion and Nord Stream 2 doubled that.

““Putin uses Russian energy as a weapon to destabilise Europe,”

Sound familiar. Try this:

Biden uses American petroleum energy as a weapon to destabilize the US.

Putin threatens to shut off natural gas pipeline movements while Biden shuts down the Keystone and cancels oil drilling leases.

More than 6.3 million Ukrainians have fled their country since Russia first invaded in late February 2022 overburdening surrounding countries.

Since the Biden administration has been in office the total of illegal aliens crossing our borders is 4.9 million, including some 900,000 “gotaways” who eluded apprehension and have since disappeared into American communities creating hardships use of tax money and an increase in crime.

Putin creating Europe’s descent into an economic contraction looks to have been confirmed with Russia squeezing natural gas supplies to the region and heavy industry facing tough rationing in the coming months.

Since Biden has been in office, with his assistance to major ports in controlling product movement of imports through the unions, and knowing that a country’s importing and exporting activity will influence our GDP, its exchange rate, and its level of inflation and interest rates, our inflation has gone over the top from a 1.8 percent average ending 2019 to 4.7% beyond.

Could easily find more, but the comparison is striking and ominously close. So it has every appearance that these talks that Putin and Biden have may not be as much to find a medium in their differences, but to find workable ways to use their similarities.

US consumers will be so happy when LNG export cause US prices to rise to European levels.

Why natural gas costs so much more in Europe

Just a note though - to be safe, in Poland we are both
1. Storing gas
2. houses and cities are reducing unnecessary energy expenses like the month-long christmas lights put up in city centres (they are beautiful, but oh well)
