It’s easier to lock people down during a phony pandemic because most people will have an understandable fear of an unknown virus.

Telling people they have to disrupt their lives because it might get 2 degrees warmer 50 years from now is a whole different story.

I so agree with you!

I also wonder if the experience of the lockdowns might not make us *more* resistant to climate lockdowns? A lot of damage was done... I wonder if there aren’t a lot of people out there who are not secretly mad as heck but not saying anything because they think everyone else is ok with the lockdowns, but all those who had relatives and friends die alone in nursing homes, parents who see that their children were badly affected, etc.,
