Funny, my Mama always called them co-inky-dinks! She was famous for making new silly words from normal ones.
Lol. My mother also said “co-inky-dinks”. She also used “catty wampus” for something that was diagonally across, like, “the people in the house catty wampus from the Smiths found a dead squirrel in their tree”
Probably the very same word. I couldn’t figure out how to spell it. LOL!
