Never mind about reading, writing and arithmetic, those things no longer matter. Being able to describe each of the 53 genders is what matters.

Earlier this year my 8 year old daughter told me that sometimes she wants to be a boy. Shaking off my initial fear, I patiently asked her why. She said because sometimes she gets scared of one day having to deal with the pain of giving birth to a baby (I rephrased that a bit).
The point is, it had nothing to do with gender identity. Just an 8 year olds fear of something they didnt fully understand and her response was the only way she knew how to process it.
That is why this crap should not be taught. It is only going to confuse children and screw with their heads.

Ok, children here is the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity: one is a real thing, like a sailboat, or a racecar, and the other is imaginary, like a dragon, or a unicorn.

Why do we have to teach any of this in school in the first place?
When sex education was first introduced into schools, it was said that we need to teach the kids about changes in their bodies, teach girls about menstruation, teach everyone the “facts of life”.
Somehow that has morphed into teaching about homosexuality and God knows what else.
Why do we need to do this?
True story which is happening close to me. A private school in Sumter, SC is facing a lawsuit from a couple parents who are upset the school will not let their young daughter (6)- who identifies as a cat- bring her litter box to school so she can use it. One of my questions to the school psychologist who told me about this was do the parents let her use it at home (if so IMHO that’s a special level of nastiness)? People- this is where our country is now. Will the last sane person please unplug all the EVs on your way out?
It seems the best solution is for Republicans, libertarians, and conservatives in blue states to consider moving to red states. Meanwhile, Democrats/RINOs in red states could consider moving to blue states. It's gonna take a while. But eventually the country could be split up into a number of separate countries, each maintaining wildly different views about practically everything. That process would probably take at least a century to complete. But it's feasible and makes sense. (Unless terribly miseducated, hyper-emotional Democrats/RINOs shockingly, suddenly wake up and smell the roses which I seriously doubt will ever happen.) As an alternative, a second Civil War would be insanely self-defeating and leave the entire nation in rubble given that Democrats/RINOs and Republicans, libertarians, and conservatives are all inter-mixed in neighborhood after neighborhood, county after county, throughout the nation. Separating into a number of different countries is the way to go but maybe I have it all wrong and someone has a better solution.
