President Joe Biden said that it “remains to be seen” whether he will run for a second term.
Biden was asked during an interview with “60 Minutes” last Thursday whether he has made a “firm decision” about running for re-election in 2024.
“Look, my intention, as I said to begin with, is that I would run again. But it’s just an intention. But is it a firm decision that I run again? That remains to be seen,” Biden said.
The president was asked if he had committed to running for a second term by “60 minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley in the interview that aired Sunday night.
“Sir, are you committed to running again, or are there certain conditions that have to be right?” Pelley asked.
Biden, 79, replied that “it’s much too early to make that kind of decision” and would decide after the midterm elections.
“It’s much too early to make that kind of decision. I’m a great respecter of fate. And so, what I’m doing is I’m doing my job. I’m gonna do that job,” he said. “And within the timeframe that makes sense after this next election cycle here, going into next year, make a judgment on what to do.”
The president’s remarks stand out from his prior steadfast insistence that he will run again in 2024.

I don’t think Harris will be the nominee in 2024; she couldn’t even get any support at all in 2020, and she’s an idiot with very low numbers. No one likes her. The Dems will end up with Buttplug, Gruesome, and an as yet unnamed black woman as the final three.
Biden is going to be kicked to the curb after the ‘22 election.
Newsom from CA is going to be the front runner.
You may be right, but replacing Kamala with a straight white guy might cause the faithful to riot.

Like Hillary and Michelle Obama, Biden has throngs of avid fans ready to go into a frenzy and totally lose all control if they hear their hero is going to run.
Joe shouldn’t toy with them.
And yeah, Newsom and Abrams. Watch it happen.
Buttgiggley will make a try but settle for Veep.
Can Hellary pull a rabid rabbit out of a hat and find a way to discredit Newsom?
If Abrams wins in Georgia, increasingly unlikely she’ll be a strong contender. She’ll try even if she loses.
Is there a Hispanic out there other then Beto?
What about Warren & Sanders?
I don’t think Harris will be the nominee either. She’ dumb as bricks, and that’s being kind. My bet is the Democrat establishment will make a corrupt bargain— Biden agrees to resign under some pretense before the end of ‘23, and Harris receives the historic “first” in exchange for agreeing not to run.
Biden leaving or keeling over in the current term is her only pathway to the office.
What should happen is DeSantis vs Newsom match up. DeSantis is young. Newsom is a little bit older but still pretty young. By 2028, they will be years older. So they will lose some of that youthful enthusiasm by then.
Put Trump and Candace Owens up against those two, and it’s a runaway train.
The Skank Tank and Gruesome Newsome.
Hopefully we will see his remains to be sure.

A president who intends on running doesn’t say “remains to be seen”. What ““remains to be seen” is what his handlers tell him he is doing.
That is a one sentence cognitive test failure! LOL
