California is going to make itself into 3rd world country because of lack of electricity, lack of businesses that have fled because of high taxes and regulations, lack of water, homelessness, crime, and a transportation system that can't supply the people with what they need.
In the mean time, their Legislature and Governor remind me of the Story of King Canute trying to hold back the tide. “...After failing to hold back the tide, King Canute removed his crown, hung it from a crucifix and never wore it again in honour of Almighty God. Either way King Canute got wet legs. ....” California's leaders will soon find their legs wet, but not with potable water.
