Russia is a pariah state since 2010 over nothing. You can’t achieve such status twice. ‘Doing right’ by your book is not going to change it, and it is wrong by their book meaning they are not going to do a thing to win your approval.

They even went so far as to try to get the national recognition of the baltic states revoked at the UN, in hopes that legal maneuver would somehow revoke their NATO status.
