I'm so old I remember when the word "Hispanic" (brown people) meant descendants of the Spanish conquistadors. Who, by the way, brought 10 to 20 times more African slaves to Americas than the Brits did.

In fact, if you focus only on black slaves alone (as though there were never slaves of other races), anywhere from 1% to 2% were brought to the land we today call the United States. You're supposed to forget about the other 98% of black slaves sent to so many other countries including China and India and middle eastern countries.

From this linked article: https://www.discoveringbristol.org.uk/slavery/routes/places-involved/east-indies/east-african-slave-trade/ -- "It has been estimated that over the twelve centuries from 750 to the 20th century (slavery continued in this area well into the 20th century, and beyond) almost 12,000,000 enslaved Africans were traded to the Middle East, North Africa and India."

“I’m so old I remember when the word “Hispanic” (brown people) meant descendants of the Spanish conquistadors.”

And that is actually the correct definition of what a Hispanic person is - somebody whose lineage is from the Iberian Peninsula. Not some Afro-Caribbean that speaks Spanish and was born in the Dominican Republic.

Commies have destroyed everything.
