A body has been identified as missing mother-of-two Eliza Fletcher by police in Memphis, Tennessee
The human remains were located close to the home of kidnapping suspect Cleotha Abston's brother, Mario
Following her disappearance, Cleotha was seen by neighbors washing the carpets of his 2013 GMC Terrain
Abston, 38, has been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence
It has been revealed that Abston previously spent 20 years in jail after he and an accomplice kidnapped a Memphis attorney, who worked in the same firm as Fletcher's uncle
He is due to make first court appearance today and is being held at Shelby County Jail on a $500,000 bond
Mario Abston is in custody on charges of possession with intent to sell heroin and fentanyl and a gun offense
Fletcher, 34, was abducted while jogging near the University of Memphis at 4.30am on Friday morning
The mother-of-two is the granddaughter of the founder of prosperous hardware company Orgill, and her family has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her safe return

"her family has offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to her safe return"
He kidnapped her uncle 20 years ago.................
That offer came out Friday or Saturday I think?
Whoa.
He must be put down.

He kidnapped a man 20 years ago that worked with her uncle..............
From the excerpt:
It has been revealed that Abston previously spent 20 years in jail after he and an accomplice kidnapped a Memphis attorney, who worked in the same firm as Fletcher's uncleTheir "chilling twist" must be the coincidence that this guy's prior kidnapping was of a lawyer who worked at the same law firm as Fletcher's uncle.
Unless they're suggesting that somehow he saw Fletcher as a teen-ager 20 years ago and stalked her ever since, I think it's just a coincidence.

“Abston, 38, was only 16-years-old when he and an accomplice kidnapped Durand, threw him into his own trunk, and tried to force him to withdraw money at a gas station ATM in 2000.
Abston spent 22 years in jail for the crime, and two years later after his early release in 2020, he is back in custody for the suspected kidnapping and murder of Fletcher.”
“Authorities went to Abston’s last known address and found the same black SUV with the damaged taillight. The affidavit said Abston was standing in the doorway when police arrived and that he began to flee, but was soon apprehended.”
One thing you can say: He sure didn’t get any smarter in the last 24 years.
We all know that will not happen. There was a reason for some of the unique racial etiquette practiced in Dixie a century and more ago. This garbage would never have seen a court room, a funeral pyre yes.
“When do we get to riot and loot?”
Oh, we can riot and loot any time we want... we would just go to jail for it.
That case was her uncle? That is amazing. I remember the case. It sounds like a TV movie plot. Did this turd have some grudge against the uncle, who was a prominent trial lawyer.
“For what it’s worth Tennessee has not been seeking the death penalty in recent years because it’s drawn out and very expensive.”
“Justice” is very expensive in this country. More so the worse the crime. This guy will sit in jail for 10 or so years with lawyers being paid to appeal the penalty, etc. Imagine the expense.
Perhaps he will “suicide?”
No cincidences.
My mistake, her uncle worked at the same law firm.
It may have been a revenge killing for his 22 years of festering brain pus.................
If you've ever read a post by me you will know I fully agree.
However, the phrase "he's being put away in prison for a long, long time" is based on fiction. This monster was already in and out, like many others. IF he gets convicted he MAY serve some years.
Pew Research:In the violent crime category, people convicted of murder spent a median of 17.5 years in prison before being released, while the median amount of time served was lower for those convicted of rape (7.2 years), non-negligent manslaughter (7.0 years), negligent manslaughter (3.7 years), other sexual assault (3.6 years), ...Dec 6, 2021
As we all know, median means some higher and some lower.
Famous GHW Bush campaign element:
'William R. Horton (born August 12, 1951) is an American convicted felon who, while serving a life sentence for murder (without the possibility of parole),[1] was the beneficiary of a Massachusetts weekend furlough program. He did not return from his furlough and ultimately committed assault, armed robbery, and rape before being captured and sentenced in Maryland, where he remains incarcerated. The controversy over Horton's furlough became a major issue in the 1988 presidential election, as US Vice President and Republican nominee George H. W. Bush brought Horton up frequently during his campaign against Massachusetts governor and Democratic nominee Michael Dukakis. A prominent PAC ad for Bush about Horton has been widely characterized as a textbook example of dog-whistle politics.--Wikipedia.
Michigan recently has to review and release prisoners who had convictions partially based on drug tests that were found to be faulty (traces of legal CBD improperly said to be active marijuana).
Other states have had improper police or prosecutor actions mean all their previous testimony gets the case reviewed for prisoners already convicted.
Still others had dna chain of evidence cited as faulty---prisoners released. The uncle part is new but have doubts that Abston could have known this relationship to his victim.
“””Terrain Abston, 38, has been charged with especially aggravated kidnapping and tampering with evidence It has been revealed that Abston previously spent 20 years in jail”””
It appears Terrain was 18 years (or younger) when convicted of kidnapping.
Terrain’s attitude obviously did not get any better in the past 20 years.
Life sentences or death is about the solution for the many dudes like Terrain.
