*Left Wing Extreme Radicals
Who are these extremists on the hard right? I'm not familiar with them.
Yeah? Who would that be, Dersh-bag? The amateur "insurrectionists" who are still being held by your side's professional tyrants?
The very ones who expect us to tolerate the intolerable.
Many of Biden’s voters are dead, period.
Jo Jo is a lyin’, sh*t-faced donkey cowboy. I don’t listen to anything the clown says. He’s severely demented.
The hard left’s village idiot, Derpy, is on the loose again.
Why is this man "famed"?
“Biden would have been correct had he accused some MAGA supporters of a totalitarian mindset that could lead to tyrannyâ
Dershowitz, like many leftists who premed even to themselves, to be open minded or conservative, have surprisingly little understanding of the constitution
Make America Great Again is centered on the constitution. It is all about voting. There is nothing âtotalitarian mindsetâ about MAGA. Dershowitz might project his own pretense of having a certain political point of view that he can change Felton circumstances like a mafia wife
But he is incorrect. He doesnât understand that conservative is not an ideology it is a way of life. It never attempts to change minds. It is incompatible with totalitarian.
The constitution could never support tyranny.
Dershowitz is silly.
Like many liberals, Dershowitz will continue to support the democrat party despite him being thrown under the bus by that party and its acolytes.
The totalitarians in America are the unelected administrative state and deeply entrenched political elites. Iâd put Bush and Cheney in the latter categorization along with Clinton and Obama. Biden gets a pass. He has no real power. He just does as he has been told.
MAGA people were on full display behind Donald Trump last night. The two Amish guys, the bikers, the big negro, the semi-Hispanic looking young guy, and the smattering of average working class whites. The vast majority of MAGA does not want to be controlled and fully understands that they donât want others to be controlled.
I guess I should point out the two things I found unsettling about Trumpâs speech last night. The first deals with a hierarchy of values and punishment. The idea of a quick trial and the death penalty for drug dealers does not align with my values. There are two parties involved in an illegal drug transaction. Both are culpable. Second, the death penalty needs to apply to other crimes first, before it applies to drug transactions. Perhaps Trump was being imprecise about who drug dealers are. Maybe he meant cartels transporting drugs across the border. I am for execution on the spot of those illegally transporting drugs across the border. That goes to the source of the problem. It is a bit extreme to sentence a low level drug dealer to death. They are all around us, more than you might expect. There numbers are huge. That means tens of thousands of executions.
Knowing Trump, he would never unilaterally impose such a law, simple because it would have to go through Congress first. So I will classify Trumps comments on this issue as hyperbole. He is not a totalitarian.
The second thing that was unsettling about Trumpâs speech was this notion that the federal government should be funding local law enforcement. I am dead set against that. I donât even want state government funding of local law enforcement. I donât want my tax dollars filtering through Washington and Harrisburg to fund police in Philadelphia. True reform of law enforcement should be a move away from municipal police forces. Iâd like to see a move to elected sheriffs and an increase in the number of sheriff deputies. Their budgets should be funded locally. This puts law enforcement closer to the people and law enforcement policies are essentially voted on in isolation and not as a small part of some politicianâs election to be mayor, or worse yet a rotating set of township commissioners who hire an unelected township manager, who has a voice in appointing an unelected chief of police.
Again, Trump isnât a totalitarian. However, he has a four year record of expanding federal spending in which the vast majority of funds is inefficiently used and passes through an ever growing administrative state. The solution to me is clear and simple. Massive cuts to federal spending and increased local spending on local issues. The federal government would solve many problems simply enforcing immigration laws. That as an impact on local crime and reduces the expense of local law enforcement, schools, hospitals, prisons and many other things. Trump gets that. It donât think he gets the relationship between the federal government staying in its lane and local government staying in its lane.
Whatever it may have meant in other times and places, in this context "hard right" is a ruling class term of art meaning (to use the old Soviet Stalin-era terminology) a "deviationist".
For example: Of course Donald Trump, but also JK Rowling for making fun if the notion that non-women have periods.
Says the lifelong demonrat who voted for Xiden, hitlery and obozo twice.
