We’ll hold Biden accountable,” DeSantis told guest host Raymond Arroyo. “This is a referendum on his failures, make sure everybody knows how his policies have contributed to the mess we’re in, and then articulate what you will do to address things like the border, like crime, like inflation. I think if you do that, I think Republicans are going to win both chambers. And I think it’ll be a really good night.”
DeSantis also weighed in on the Biden administration trying to blame Republicans for school lockdowns during the pandemic while many Democrat politicians actually supported closing schools. “Well, first of all, the pandemic didn’t cause those setbacks, lockdown policies of Democrat governors, Anthony Fauci, national teachers unions who wanted schools closed, they are the ones that caused that,” DeSantis said. “In Florida, we said, you have a right to be in school, and you need to be in school. And we’ve done much better as a result, but it wasn’t the pandemic, because all it required was leadership to say we need to keep kids in school, and those Democrats and those unions and the Left and Fauci, they chose ideology over what was right for those kids, and the damage is going to be lasting, regardless of what Fauci wants to tell you.”

I wonder if The Turtle is on board with this strategy. He might fight against it.

He forgot one thing, and the most important one: “Make sure the elections are secure and fair. Arrest and convict all cheaters.”

I do wish that the GOP powers that be would also mention runaway spending, plus runaway bloat in law and regulations.
I remember someone saying that each and every one of us commits between one and five felonies PER DAY, without knowing. There is no way for a Good Citizen to know all the law.

That’s a good thought there. What does the Turtle stand for? Has he ever said what he wants for his constituents?

“I really do not know what Mitch stands for, other than being an assistant Democrat”
Mitch decided not to make the 2022 Congressional elections about issues. No “Contract for America” or any specific promises on the border, runaway inflation, education, politicization of the DOJ and FBI, wasteful spending, energy prices, supply chain shortages, taxes, crime, healthcare, etc. His strategy was to be quiet and assume the American people will be so disgusted with two years of Democrat rule they will come out and give the GOP a majority in both houses of Congress.
It still isn’t too late but Mitch is holding firm to a strategy that he now admits is probably not going to give the GOP the Senate.
The American people realize the current direction of the country is wrong, the Biden polls show that. However, Mitch has decided not to give them a real alternative. An alternative is a specific platform and roadmap to a better place. Silence is not a roadmap, nor does it give independent voters any reason to believe the Republicans will do better.
In addition the absence of specific policies allows the Democrats and media to define the Republicans. If the Republicans had a specific plan, Biden and others wouldn’t be able to get away with labeling Republicans as racist threats to democracy. If the Republicans had plans to deal with the issues the majority of people care about, the Democrats would today be playing defense, not offense. Unfortunately Mitch’s decision not to play offense means the GOP is playing defense when the other side is weak. If you don’t play to win, and two months before the vote is tallied you are already conceding you won’t prevail, it is almost certain you will lose.

After waiting a full media cycle (26 hours) to evaluate the landscape, the team behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis coordinated an “exclusive interview” with Laura Ingraham to give his opinion on the divisive speech by Joe Biden.
Carefully navigating the political waters to avoid the terms “MAGA republican” or “Trump,” DeSantis gave a down the middle approved republican rebuttal. WATCH:

The last time that I checked, DeSantis was NOT gay - so why would any Republican candidate listen to him?

We’ll hold Biden accountable
In other words…
2nd Amendment …. We’ll lower taxes …. We’ll shrink government …. We’ll control the border …. We’ll stand up to Russia/China/whoever the enemy of the day is …. We’re about law and order
In other other words …. We’ll talk a good game, people will be forced into voting for us otherwise the Democrat will win, so vote for the RINO we serve up. And then we’ll turn out collective backs on all of you because were more interested in making money off of all of you and we do what our donors tell us to. Especially with regards to all the cheap labor come coming over the border.
In fact, the only person that actually lived up and fulfilled his promises was summarily dispatched and we enthusiastically helped.

DeSantis has done more than anyone to win back the House, by virtue of the redistricting map he forced the lame GOP Florida legislature to adopt.

No force used. He politely told them it was his plan or no plan.

Did you also post that Mitch would cave on Garland?
To: Hojczyk
Key point pandemic didn’t cause lockdowns bad politicians did it.
