I feel sorry for any Marine Band musicians who may have voted for President Trump in 2020 to be belittled, to their faces, by their Commander in Chief and be described in essence as enemies of the state. There needs to be a firewall, rule, or code for the Marines not to be used as props for any political campaign event. The two Marines at attention behind the President may have also voted for Trump and may have served under President Trump as their Commander in Chief. Marines follow orders regardless of politics, but this was a pure partisan, divisive attack on at least 74 million Americans who voted for President Trump and the Marines were portrayed as being supportive of this partisan divisiveness. I’m in my 70s. You’ve never seen or heard anything close to this; I’ve never seen or heard anything close to this; and no one else has ever seen or heard anything close to this from an American president. It was, quite literally, a declaration of war — a kinetic war. Specifically, against Republicans and conservatives; in general, against America.
Desperate attempt by CNN (aka “news media”) attempting to get out ahead of their own culpability. Reviews coming in must be terrible. Uh oh. Staged event backfired perhaps?
Ah, true, but I will say Kathy hochul is coming somewhat close- telling conservatives In Her state to leave, and ignoring the supreme court and cenying people thir right to self protection/constitutional carry etc.. but yeah, Biden was certainly demonic looking at his speech.
Personally, I think the use of Marines, AND the media ‘outrage’, is a diversionary tactic meant to take the focus off the Nazi-like, blood-red-bathed call for war against half the population.
