Texas has delivered its first busload of illegals to the sanctuary city of Chicago.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott announced Wednesday night he was adding Chicago to his list of destination sanctuary cities for his bus loads of migrants who have crossed the border.
"To continue providing much-needed relief to our small, overrun border towns, Chicago will join fellow sanctuary cities Washington, D.C. and New York City as an additional drop-off location. Mayor (Lori) Lightfoot loves to tout the responsibility of her city to welcome all regardless of legal status, and I look forward to seeing this responsibility in action as these migrants receive resources from a sanctuary city with the capacity to serve them," Abbott said in a statement.
"First Texas bus of migrants has arrived in Chicago.
Biden's inaction at our border puts Texans at risk & is overwhelming our communities.
We'll continue busing migrants to sanctuary cities like NYC, DC, & now Chicago until the federal gov't does its job & secures the border."
In a tweet, Abbott noted that, “We'll continue bussing migrants to sanctuary cities like NYC, DC, & now Chicago until the federal gov't does its job & secures the border.”
The Texas Tribune reports that Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s office called the practice of busing migrants “racist.”
Sure that creature is female?
watching the Chicago mayor speak. She big mad at Texas governor. He is trying to create crisis in Democrat city. She’s happy to take Texans because she wouldn’t want to live there either. He’s a racist!
No, but somewhere along the way they turned it into a low rider.
Abbot’s hypothetical reply: “We’re not happy til she’s not happy.”
Hooray!
More! More! More!
:)
Yes. The Governor is doing his job.
