Wednesday night on FOX News, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich predicted that former President Donald Trump will be indicted for mishandling classified documents at his Florida home after he left the White House.
Gingrich called this the "most corrupt Justice Department in all of American history."
"You have corruption from the Attorney General, to the head of the FBI, to senior elements of the FBI," he said. "You have collusion from a wide range of the intelligence community. You had, I think it was 50 some intelligence senior officials who signed a letter last year that we now know is a total lie, none of whom have recanted."
"I fully expect the Justice Department to indict President Trump in a DC court, a district where he got 5.6 percent of the vote. So by 19 to one, the jury is likely to be against him."
"I have no idea what's going to happen next," he explained. "I'm a historian by training and I tell everybody you have to assume that nothing, you know, tells you anything about how corrupt and how sick this is going to get.

The political doctrine of anacyclosis (or anakyklosis from Greek: ἀνακύκλωσις) is a cyclical theory of political evolution. The theory of anacyclosis is based upon the Greek typology of constitutional forms of rule by the one, the few, and the many. Anacyclosis states that three basic forms of “benign” government (monarchy, aristocracy, and democracy) are inherently weak and unstable, tending to degenerate rapidly into the three basic forms of “malignant” government (tyranny, oligarchy, and ochlocracy).
According to the doctrine, “benign” governments have the interests of all at heart, whereas “malignant” governments have the interests of a select few at heart. However, all six are considered unworkable because the first three rapidly transform into the latter three due to political corruption.
The idea of anacyclosis influenced theorists of republicanism. Some of them, including Aristotle, Cicero, Machiavelli, Vico and Kant suggested that mixed government might help to stabilize republics and prevent permanent anacyclosis.

Polybius’ sequence of anacyclosis proceeds in the following order: 1. monarchy, 2. kingship, 3. tyranny, 4. aristocracy, 5. oligarchy, 6. democracy, and 7. ochlocracy.
According to Polybius’ elaboration of the theory,[1] the state begins in a form of primitive monarchy. The state will emerge from monarchy under the leadership of an influential and wise king; this represents the emergence of “kingship”. Political power will pass by hereditary succession to the children of the king, who will abuse their authority for their own gain; this represents the degeneration of kingship into “tyranny”.
Some of the more influential and powerful men of the state will grow weary of the abuses of tyrants, and will overthrow them; this represents the ascendancy of “aristocracy” (as well as the end of the “rule by the one” and the beginning of the “rule by the few”).
Just as the descendants of kings, however, political influence will pass to the descendants of the aristocrats, and these descendants will begin to abuse their power and influence, as the tyrants before them; this represents the decline of aristocracy and the beginning of “oligarchy”. As Polybius explains, the people will by this stage in the political evolution of the state decide to take political matters into their own hands.
This point of the cycle sees the emergence of “democracy”, as well as the beginning of “rule by the many”. In the same way that the descendants of kings and aristocrats abused their political status, so too will the descendants of democrats. Accordingly, democracy degenerates into “ochlocracy”, literally, “mob-rule”. In an ochlocracy, according to Polybius, the people of the state will become corrupted, and will develop a sense of entitlement and will be conditioned to accept the pandering of demagogues. Essentially, government becomes a puppet show because a transition in power does not affect a civilian on a day-to-day basis.
Eventually, the state will be engulfed in chaos, and the competing claims of demagogues will culminate in a single (sometimes virtuous) demagogue claiming absolute power, bringing the state full-circle back to monarchy.
Origin
This theory was developed in stages by the ancient Greek philosophers Plato and Aristotle, but is mainly attributable to the ancient Greek historian Polybius. Polybius’ explanation of anacyclosis is found in Book VI of The Histories.

It isn't a well-oiled machine so it doesn't operate smoothly.
It is a kind of collective Beast without a brain (or at least an octopus kind of decentralized brain) that operates under prime directives. Its prime directives are, at present: to destroy all threats (internal and external) and to gather power.
Of course, this is speculation, but it is there for all to see. Trump certainly knows the Deep State is the enemy. And the Deep State sees Trump the same way.
It appears the Deep State installed Biden (permitting Democrat Party operatives to violate election laws with impunity) because Biden is nothing but window dressing, a figurehead. Biden can act as president all he wants as long as he doesn't interfere with the Deep States prime directives.
The Deep State controls the Congress as the mafia controls its capos. The Congress is a single tentacle of the Deep State, just as are the DOJ, the IC, the Pentagon, etc.
Lately, only the Supreme Court has behaved somewhat independently. One has to wonder how that will work out.

My major concern is what were the documents, not how they were collected. What’s going on now is definitely my head.
Trump might be holding his cards until DOJ/FBI has played all of theirs.
Also, I can see the DOJ/FBI continuing their offensive until after the next election.
What is especially disturbing is that Garland, being Jewish, has no compunction about engaging in political persecution the Nazis in Germany would have been proud of.

The DOJ isn’t turning back, they haven’t come this far and not indict Trump. Biden will give his emergency speech to protect America from the MAGA Americans and will be taking steps to protect Democracy. Remember the fence that went up in DC along with the National Guard after J6? Well, that was just he beginning. I also find it interesting that the Delaware WH perimeter has again been recently reinforced.

Human chains around all the government buildings in DC: We Shall Overcome and other civil rights songs from the ‘60s, mixed with some country western and blue grass classics, such as Blue Moon of Kentucky, Soggy Bottom Breakdown, Dooly, etc., and some hybrids of both. A big love fest. Let’s start planning for it now, rather than waiting to react.

of course. if these creeps will impeach and impeach - with no hope of conviction - they will indict with zero hope of conviction. just to put DJT under a cloud, dirt him up. but i suspect it will backfire BIGLY.
First ones shooting will have bib overalls with ironed creases, brand new straw hats and long underwear, and shiny patent leather dress shoes with no dirt on them. News will rerun: "And I'll shoot anyone who tries to take my farm away or the weapons I have in my feed shed."
Then: The DOJ has alerted all law enforcement that under martial law they may shoot to kill any domestic terrorists holed up at home or in Republican Party campaign buildings.
It will be one of the biggest show trials in history. Followed by a televised execution.
After the outrage and invective dies down, the Constitution will be legally discarded. And our new leader will emerge.

I think they will indict simply because they always overreach and arresting Trump and having pictures of him in leg irons has always been their end game and wet dream. Plus they want Trump supporters to riot so they can justify the mext phase of january 6 on steroids. Do I think it will backfire! Ansolutely!!
A failure to indict would be tantamount to an admission of reactionary and weaponized political engagement by the federal justice establishment. Fasten your seat belts, it's going to get very bumpy. I pray daily that there will be some sane members of the DOJ/FBI who will come forward to stop this treachery.
