In social media eruption, Trump demands a new election or immediate reinstatement
Fox News ^ | August 31, 2022 | Howard Kurtz

Donald Trump, who said two weeks ago "the temperature has to be brought down" in this country, is raising it to heights that would burst the thermometer.

He’s gone on what we would call an angry tweetstorm, if he was still on Twitter, pumping out three dozen postings and repostings on his far smaller Truth Social app.

Then Trump drops the hammer: "REMEDY: Declare the rightful winner, or, and this would be the minimal solution, declare the 2020 Election irreparably compromised and have a new Election, immediately!"

LOL “organized manner”. After all of the other “organized” attempts were rejected by Obama judges or Obama-leaning judges.

Gotta see the constitutional crisis for what it is.

Just repeating Shapiro:

“ There is a reason Democrats are eager to keep Trump at the center of the conversation: half of independents say Trump is a major factor in their vote, and they’re breaking 4-1 for the Democrats,” he continued. “Republicans shouldn’t play that game. If they do, they’re cruising for a bruising.”

The brilliant thing is he is giving them two choices. If they don’t want a new election, they can go for the reinstatement instead. It is more than reasonable.

There is a third choice. They can just ignore him entirely.

Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I think any remedy would have to come from the states via the 10th Amendment. I can see nothing else in the Constitution that would give Trump what he is asking for.

And of course using the 10A would be the longest of long shots. Maybe half the states are quite happy with the steal.

No, Sirius Lee is right; you are just like one of Rush’s seminar callers.

You worry about offending the Left, and are ashamed of people like President Trump, or Doug Mastriano, who speak the unvarnished truth.

No it’s not. He just knows how to work the message. Supporters of Trump love him, are very passionate. If you want to put Pressure on the politicians you make sure the people (Trump supporters)never forget how they felt the night Trump was winning and a random 5am spike happened (graphs show their were shenanigans). Remind them constantly that the rules were changed against all laws just to stop Trump. The passion translates to something getting done. Trump is integral to that passion. Like it or not. The second Trump stops this is the instant everyone else forgets.

I agree with your comments. Unfortunately I suspect trump will continue to hurt candidates chances of winning thru his incessant over the top comments.

If he would talk about what the Republican party and by inference it’s candidates wants to do for this country it would certainly help. But his ego and his penchant for attacking people isn’t helping.

Nobody might want to hear it but he is starting to sound like a kook in his comments. yeah I can hear the comments about he’s just “fighting” and so on. Well making statements about “putting the rightfully elected” person back into office, besides being undo able and a silly comment, is turning off people.

Right now, the Republicans aren’t in power, and Biden will still be President after the midterms anyway. So really, all we can do at this point is promise to oppose the Democrat attempts to further sabotage the country.

Sam……all the elements are here.

A brand spanking new ( and sometimes not new, but in pounce mode) spills their bile about Trump…
..and all the naysayers waiting in the back room appear

Fascinating that a few weeks after reading of an effort to steer conservative voters away from President Trump by infiltrating influential conservative news sites and posting anti Trump ideology, Frerrpublic is lousy with anti Trumpers who claim to be Republicans.

You can think that calling to redo the 2020 election is not a great strategy and still be pro-Trump.

That list could go on and on and on ... and I didn't even mention Wu-Flu ... oops! So, again, how many tens of millions of votes did they swing from the hugely successful & hugely popular President Trump to their senile Sleepy Joe puppet?

Such a true statement. It's hard to think of any person in history that was victimized more than President Trump in 2020. The Deep State stole the election, flipped votes, and stuffed ballots. It never ends - the persecution continues!

A fake flu virus from China killed the economy and Kushner pushed a poison vaccine. And where does the buck stop? With Fauci of course. He stabbed Trump in the back over and over.

It's ironic that Democrats complain about privilege and racial barriers, when the most victimized group in America is mostly white, older Trump voters.

I’m conservative first, Republican second. If someone dares to call out Trump when he does stuff that hurts the conservative movement, you’re not a conservative or Republican, and you shouldn’t be on FR. FR is for conservatives to exchange thoughts and ideas. Regardless of how much you would like FR to be solely for Trump worshipers who are okay with him when he does stuff that hurts the conservative cause, you’re not going to get your way. You’ll have to live with it.

Ah, I see. If you don’t toe the line and fully endorse all of Trump’s actions, even when they hurt the conservative cause (winning in Nov), you are like a seminar caller. Wow, now there’s some solid objective thinking........NOT. Thinking is not against the rules.....

I voted for Mastriano in the primary, and will vote for him in Nov. DeSantis was in PA last week campaigning with Mastriano.......where’s Trump.....taking attention away from the mid-terms!!!!!

Oh, and don’t forget to see him on September 3rd in Wilkes-Barre, PA as he stumps for candidates he is all in on.

MAGA for ever.
Let’s go Brandon

End of message.
Wave
Leave stage
Wait, how did Brandon’s teleprompter get in here?

“If you don’t toe the line and fully endorse all of Trump’s actions, even when they hurt the conservative cause (winning in Nov)..”

That’s pure conjecture… many, many millions of voters share President Trump’s view that the corrupted deep state, the stolen election and the mass brainwashing of the American people are top issues of 2024 - and they are right.

Solve those problems and make government accountable to the people - and all the other issues will solve themselves. Ignore them - and things will only get worse.

“I voted for Mastriano in the primary, and will vote for him in Nov.”

Glad to hear it.
