Democrats are increasingly selling a comeback narrative that they believe will help them defend Congress in the 2022 midterm elections — and Republicans have been slow to respond with a clear argument as to why voters should choose them.

There has clearly been a momentum shift - Biden’s string of supposed “victories” and the massive, fawning media coverage does have an impact.
The raid on Trump also had an impact by putting a huge focus back on him - this motivated the Dem base to look up and pay attention, making them more likely to vote. Also provides the media a good out not to talk about the recession, etc.
We ignore the reality of this to our own peril.

Anyone who doesn’t thing the GOP has been going out of its way to squander its innate advantage this fall hasn’t been paying attention.
This should be an absolutely blow out of an election, and they have not pressed that advantage in any meaningful way.
Its almost like there is a UNIPARTY.... hmm...
Early voting............to see how much they have to steal
Republicans probably don’t want to rule this mess.
That was how VA flipped from blue to red in 2021.
Many people got involved and became poll watchers after the 2020 Steal.
There were so many eyes on the process that the Rats were not able to cheat with the same ease of 2020.
It's the RINOs who want to lose.
If all of these MAGA nominees win their respective elections, it won't be long before RINOs are outnumbered and lose 'their' party leadership positions.
2020 was about cheating against one man.
2022 will be about cheating against all MAGA candidates, and the Uniparty will pull out the stops to make sure it happens.
RINO traitors are worse than Rats. They would happily be in the opposition party forever if it means MAGA does not take over.

Watching ONE state is a hell of a lot easier than watching the ENTIRE country for what has become WEEKS of voting, we need to get back to ELECTION DAY make it a holiday so there is no problem with people getting to the polls!! Governors and legislators in red states need to do this NOW!! GA. regardless of being a supposed red state it has corrupt republicans there so I don’t hold much hope for that state!!
I agree, national holiday, polls open for in person voting 6am til 9pm. Limited absentee voting which will be for one week and start two weeks before the election and end one week prior so the results can be easily tabulated on election day.
The ‘Steal’, however you want to describe it, is on. There’s no doubt. At the same time Republican leadership, more closely aligned with the democrats than they are their own voters, are reticent about having total power with their half of the country becoming increasingly demanding they represent them.
This ain’t about republicans vs democrats anymore.
agree, cheating is much harder in state wide elections. That’s why we won so many unexpected seats in congress in 2020 even though amazingly Trump ‘lost’.

The fact they’re starting so early leads me to believe the steal is going to be massive.
I can not think of a better way to get people out to vote then to tell them that they are voting in a rigged election

That statement reeks of old time thinking from the 1990s or early 2000s when issues mattered. Now, unfortunately, politics has acquired religious dimensions, where policies and consequences of those policies do not matter. Only the creed you espouse matters. Especially when one side has been painted as Nazis and racists and fascists, it removes them from contention for votes, no matter the policy failures of the other side. I don't think people will let a little inflation or a bit of a crime wave in the neighborhood force them to pull the lever for Nazis.
You have too little faith in most Americans.
Setting us up for the steal. Until 2020 is fixed there is no 2022 or 2024.
