President Biden has announced that the federal government will forgive $10,000 in student loan debt for Americans making less than $125,000 annually as well as extend the student loan repayment moratorium. This plan is estimated to cost taxpayers $330 billion and should be seen as the most unfair, outrageous, and disgraceful decision in many years. The president is telling Americans that they do not have to bear any responsibility for their voluntary obligations in borrowing money or going into debt. His proposal is also regressive and inflationary, and possibly unconstitutional.

It did occur to me just now, if your job is further dividing the country, this is a peach of a plan.

Excellent idea, if that’s your goal.

If you are only concerned about what our people think, you have completely missed the point.

Assuming you’re right, who’s going to stop it?

If you rob Peter to pay Paul, you can count on Paul's support. Democrats know what they're doing is unfair... they don't care.

The money goes to their biggest donors - those folks who milk white guilt for all the money, position and grants it can get them in our 'University' rip off systems. THEY know it's not fair and they don't care. Yes, that's where the billion dollar checks will go = right to the 'best' colleges... The people who didn't bother to pay back their student loans lack the moral ability to understand why ripping off others is wrong. So they can't be changed either.

Maybe we can all wear white gloves and go to a prison to explain to men who rape 5 year olds why destroying an innocent child is wrong. I'm sure they'll 'get it' if we just choose the right words... /s

Not sure I follow you. The other side is destroying the country and all our side does is wailing and nashing of teeth. We aren’t even reacting to this craziness with any solutions or coordinated outreach. Jeez, completely ineffective or no messaging and zero solutions. Where are the commercials, where is the community outreach in communities ripe for new leadership? Instead we get the Turtle and polished BS artist and Liz Cheney.
