It has been asked by owners many times in my condo complex to install chargers. The reply is no. Not gonna happen where I live.
I lived in an apartment complex for over 20 years here in Michigan, thru mild winters and bad winters.
In a bad or normal winter, after a heavy snow fall, parking lot chargers would be inaccessible due to the way the lot is plowed and the tenants would be required to hand shovel a spot next to a charger just to use it.
I also can't imagine a 200 unit complex installing enough chargers for all the resident renters.
Why not?
