What runs out first? Will it be electric power, access to rare earth minerals to build Eva or oil?

IT is time for Texas to break off & take about 1/2 the states with them.

Has ANYONE thought about how much POWER will be required to run all these vehicles?

EVERY HOUSE will have a charging system???

EVERY APARTMENT/CONDO building?

EVERY BUSINESS???

The unicorns are laughing.

Completely childish and idiotic.

You CANNOT force into existence a new energy system by simply outlawing the existing one…

Who am I kidding… they’re deliberately out to destroy our nation. It’s the plan..

I want to see the battery necessary to power an industrial vehicle, of course, they may mandate a dump truck to be the size of a Prius and a Freight Liner to the size of a Tesla.

It has been asked by owners many times in my condo complex to install chargers. The reply is no. Not gonna happen where I live.

What is the plan to provide the necessary electricity for all these vehicles?

What runs out first - I say the Electric Grid Capacity coupled with the collapse of major portions based on the utilities delaying maintenance until something breaks.

Very little preventative maintenance being done. Kind of like not changing oil in your car and just driving until engine siezes, then put in new engine.

Yep. I don’t hate EVs. There are innovative tech that have many advantages, but the decision of if they are better than gas cars needs to be left to the market.

The USA is ever more adopting Soviet style central planning, and it will work just as well for us as it did them.

It’s a pipe dream.

So is the belief that we can continue to increase the rate of oil extraction to keep up with the yearly 3-4% GDP growth we all want.

Hey eastern Washington is it time to break off and join up with Idaho?

The car dealers in Idaho must be rubbing their hands together with glee. All of eastern Washington will just hop over the border to buy their gas vehicles.

You know what the next step will be, right? When the government figures out people have bought them elsewhere they'll ban the REGISTRATION of the aforementioned evil conveyances.

They did a study on this and no way could a break happen. Idaho would have to pay Washington for the land and Idaho is a pretty poor state without those financial resources to pay up.
