Republican lawmakers have been quick to slam President Joe Biden's recent student-loan forgiveness announcement — and Democrats aren't letting it slide.
On Wednesday, Biden announced up to $20,000 in student-loan forgiveness for Pell Grant recipients making under $125,000 a year, and $10,000 for other federal borrowers within the same income cap. While this was a long-awaited policy that many Democrats were waiting for the president to implement, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was not thrilled with the expansive relief.

Actually parents can’t even afford the instate public colleges either. They are now $15k/year tuition. That times 4 years of room and board (also $15k/yr) is $120k per child or for 4 kids (as I have) a half million dollars. Who can save up for that? Not many.
Do not defend this man no matter how unfair the accusations may seem. He does not deserve it

Seriously: If I purchased an automobile for, say, $330, am I somehow then magically deprived of the right to criticize someone who purchased a car for $250,000, and is now demanding loan relief?
If I buy a hamburger for $3, can I no longer chide someone who ordered a five-course meal with champagne for $600, and is now refusing to pay the bill?
Warren's understanding of the concept of "fairness" is ass-backwards.

If kolleges didn’t pay incompetents, liars, and fake Indians so much to be professors they wouldn’t have to charge students so much for their gender studies degrees.
I'm sure all the people who believe that Warren kept them from getting that coveted Harvard minority position have something to say about "fairness."

The argument that the student loan system is broken is laughable. Obama broke it by making it a government monopoly.

That was back before the government was financing college educations to the extreme extent that they are now. Furthermore, the so-called elite or first tier colleges are grossly overpriced. Once accepted, however, it is your ticket to the “big dance” and you become one of the “good old boys”. We need to stop voting for the Elites!
