Most California Voters Support Limits on Abortion
Rasmussen Reports ^ | August 23, 2022

As California prepares for a referendum on abortion rights this November, most voters in the state – including many who consider themselves pro-choice – oppose late-term abortion.

A new telephone and online survey by Rasmussen Reports and Real Impact finds that only 13% of California Likely Voters believe abortion should be legal at any time during pregnancy up to the moment of birth. Fourteen percent (14%) think abortion should be legal up to six months of pregnancy, while 32% say abortion should be legal up to three months of pregnancy. Nineteen percent (19%) believe abortion should only be legal during the first month of pregnancy, while 14% think all abortions should be illegal. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

In November, California voters will decide Proposition 1, which would amend the state constitution: “The state shall not deny or interfere with an individual’s reproductive freedom in their most intimate decisions, which includes their fundamental right to choose to have an abortion.” Sixty-six percent (66%) of California voters support Proposition 1, including 49% who Strongly Support it. Twenty-seven percent (27%) oppose the proposition, including 17% who Strongly Oppose it.

“Gavin Newsom’s radical liberal government is trying to sneak past the people of California a constitutional amendment that would pave the way for abortion without limitations,” said Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills. “Proposition 1 on the 2022 ballot – which places no limits on abortion – is way too extreme even in a state where the majority say they are pro-choice. I believe abortion should never be enshrined in our constitution and allowing late-term abortion is especially evil.”

The survey of 1,006 California Likely Voters was conducted on August 10-11, 2022 by Rasmussen Reports and Real Impact.

They were going to have an abortionarium on every floor of every middle school and high school in the state.

Most Californians...remember when we voted against Homosexual marriage and the courts passed it anyway? Sacramento hates its own voters.
When Sacto can get away with calling Larry Elder a black version of a white supremacist and BLM/antifa doesn’t burn down cities in solidarity for a black brother you know you’re in deep.

The Democrat Party, always pandering to 10.00% or
less of the fractionated sectors of our national
being.

It would be a hoot, if something pro life snuck up on
the Democrats in California, and bit them on the ass.

They would appeal it to the Ninth Circuit Court of
Appeals in about ten minutes, and they’d strike it
down by sunrise to nullify the will of the people.

Par for the course.

Hard to believe that so few voters in California support late term abortions.

In late 2013, Albuquerque, New Mexico, voted on a city initiative to ban late term abortions.

50% of Albuquerque is Hispanic, but I do not know how many are legal voters.

The Wall Street Journal hyped this election for weeks because the Open Borders WSJ has been claiming that Hispanics are "Natural Conservatives" since the 1980s.

The vote came in at 55%-45% to keep late term abortions legal.

The WSJ published the results, ignored the political implications, and, 9 years later, WSJ is still calling Hispanics "Natural Conservatives."

These polls just prove that we need to divide the country. They hate us and we hate all that they stand for.

Re: "They hate us, and we hate all that they stand for."

I agree.

However, this time, from Day One, we are going to consciously avoid the mass killing and the mass economic destruction that defined 1861-1865.

My instincts say the Political Left will vehemently resist a peaceful division of the former "United" States.

That will be an opportunity to immediately put them on the psychological defensive.

Since we are racist, violent, misogynist, homophobic, ignorant, and Fascist, we simply ask them, "What possible reason do you have for insisting that we continue to live in your country?"

They will have no credible answer to that question.

Bottom Line - 335 million hugely diverse people cannot be peacefully governed as one nation.

Unless they are huddled under the cover of God Almighty. Of course, so many have forgotten about God or wrongly assumed that we have no moral responsibility.
If we continue to give ground, the government will disarm the good citizens of our country and there will be no check on their evil intent.
