“NAC is the stuff Amazon preemptively (temporarily) quit selling “

Thanks for the explanation. I started taking it for the claimed antioxidant properties, and then it was gone! I couldn’t figure out why they pulled it from Amazon.

N-Acetyl Cysteine

N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) is a metabolite of the sulfur-containing amino acid, Cysteine. Cysteine is found in high protein foods, N-Acetyl Cysteine is not. N-Acetyl Cysteine is produced within the human body. Cysteine plays a role in the sulfation cycle, acting as a sulfur donor in phase II detoxification and as a methyl donor in the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. Cysteine also helps synthesize glutathione, one of the body’s most important natural antioxidants and detoxifiers. N-Acetyl-Cysteine is the acetylated form of L-Cysteine.

N-Acetyl Cysteine increases Glutathione Levels
N-Acetyl Cysteine is rapidly metabolized to intracellular glutathione. Glutathione acts as a powerful antioxidant in the body. Glutathione also detoxifies chemicals into less harmful compounds. N-Acetyl Cysteine also protects the body from acetaminophen toxicity and is used in hospitals for patients with acetaminophen poisoning. It has also been shown to be effective at treating liver failure from other causes as well.

N-Acetyl Cysteine Chelates Heavy Metals
Heavy metals like lead, mercury and arsenic are detoxified and removed from the body by N-Acetyl Cysteine . It also increases the excretion of zinc and other essential minerals when taken over an extended period. It is therefore necessary to supplement zinc, copper and other trace minerals when taking N-Acetyl Cysteine.

N-Acetyl Cysteine and the Immune System
Glutathione is known to aid in the transport of nutrients to lymphocytes and phagocytes, two major classes of immune cells, and to protect cell membranes. While purified glutathione is available as a dietary supplement, absorption is low, and N-Acetyl Cysteine is thought to be a better method of boosting cellular glutathione levels. N-Acetyl Cysteine is being investigated as a treatment for AIDS.

N-Acetyl Cysteine Breaks up Mucus
N-Acetyl Cysteine cleaves disulfide bonds by converting them to two sulfhydryl groups. This action results in the breakup of mucoproteins in lung mucus, reducing their chain lengths and thinning the mucus, improving conditions such as bronchitis and flu. Double-blind research has found that N-Acetyl Cysteine supplements improved symptoms and prevented recurrences in people with chronic bronchitis. N-Acetyl Cysteine at a dosage of 1,200 mg per day helps to prevent Influenza infection, reduces the symptoms of existing Influenza infection and reduces the duration of Influenza infections.

N-Acetyl Cysteine and Cancer
N-Acetyl CysteineN-Acetyl Cysteine has been shown to reduce the proliferation of certain cells lining the colon and may reduce the risk of colon cancer in people with recurrent polyps in the colon. Its action as an antioxidant and a glutathione precursor may also contribute to a protective effect against cancer.

N-Acetyl Cysteine Cautions
When taking N-acetyl cysteine it is recommended that two to three times as much vitamin C be taken at the same time. Failure to do so may result in more harm than good from taking this product because of the prolonged presence of the oxidized form of L-Cysteine. The vitamin C also helps keep the glutathione that is produced from the Cysteine in its reduced form so that it can continue acting as an antioxidant.

N-Acetyl Cysteine Dosage
Typical dosage recommendations are in the range of 250-1500mg of NAC daily for the majority of therapeutic benefits.

N-Acetyl Cysteine Safety
NAC is considered safe for consumption in its therapeutic dosage ranges. Individual reactions may vary and anyone experiencing adverse symptoms while taking N-Acetyl Cysteine should discontinue it.

Where to Get N-Acetyl Cysteine
Available from Pure Bulk vitamins

In order for NAC o work properly always take it along with at least twice or three times the amount of buffered ascorbic acid, also known as vitamin C.

NAC found to protect kidneys against VENOM damage (no wonder FDA wants to ban it)

NAC found to protect kidneys against VENOM damage (no wonder FDA wants to ban it)
(Natural News) A 2014 study published in the journal Toxicon shows that N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) is a powerful remedy against animal venom poisoning.

Researchers from Instituto Butantan in Brazil studied the effects of NAC on mice injected with Bothrops jararaca (a highly venomous pit viper snake) and Crotalus durissus terrificus (tropical rattlesnake) venoms. Since NAC is a well-known nephroprotective antioxidant with low toxicity, the researchers figured it might be a powerful remedy – and they were right.

“In controls, NAC was found to promote hypercreatinemia, hypouremia, hyperosmolality with decreased urea in urine, hyperproteinuria, decreased protein and increased dipeptidyl peptidase IV (DPPIV) in membrane-bound fraction (MF) from renal cortex (RC) and medulla (RM),” the study explains.

“NAC ameliorated or normalized altered creatinuria, proteinemia and aminopeptidase (AP) acid in MF, AP basic (APB) in soluble fraction (SF), and neutral AP in SF and MF from RC and RM in vBj envenomation. NAC ameliorated or normalized altered neutral AP in SF from RC and RM, and DPPIV and protein in MF from RC in vCdt envenomation. NAC ameliorated or restored renal redox status respectively in vCdt and vBj, and normalized uricemia in both envenomations.”

Based on this, the researchers concluded that the data is “promising,” and that NAC deserves more clinical evaluation as a potential co-adjuvant in anti-serotherapy. In short, NAC appears to be a powerful remedy for snake and other venomous animal bites.

NAC is a miracle nutrient, and the FDA doesn’t want you to have it
Another study published more recently in Toxicon arrived at similar conclusions after evaluating the effects of NAC as a polyvalent anti-venom against Lachesis muta muta (South American bushmaster).

Brighteon.TV
Researchers once again from Brazil found that NAC prevents venom-induced myotoxicity both locally and systemically. NAC also attenuates the venom-induced inflammatory response while also preventing venom-induced skeletal muscle, hepatic and renal tissue damage.

In this study, researchers administered NAC to rats that were poisoned with South American bushmaster venom. They then collected blood and tissue samples for evaluations.

They found that NAC successfully reduces the extent of myonecrotic lesions and prevents the occurrence of subcutaneous hemorrhage. Venom-induced creating kinase (CK) was also significantly prevented by NAC alone or in combination with an anti-venom.

This is probably why the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is desperately trying to ban NAC as a dietary supplement, arguing that it is an unapproved “drug.”

“NAC is a selective immune system enhancer, and, as mentioned above, helps remove free radicals, which contribute to neurogenerative diseases and aging,” says the Alliance for Natural Health USA (ANH-USA), which is urging the public to contact the FDA to oppose any potential ban.

“NAC is also a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most important antioxidants. Glutathione plays crucial roles in human health, particularly in detoxification.”

You can contact the FDA at the ANH-USA website.

In the comment section of our own action alert opposing a NAC ban, one reader suggested that Americans also contact their legislators to urge them to protect NAC and any other safe and effective dietary supplement that the FDA might try to go after next.

“Health Freedom is our right and like everything else it is a constant fight,” this person added. “The ANH-USA Action Alert Page is a quick, easy way to fight back on many health freedom issues. Please do your part.”

Another wrote that while many legislators have been bought off by Big Pharma, they still need to hear from Americans in large numbers. If they know people are paying attention, they are less likely to sell out for fear of being ousted.

The vaccine itself also causes major problems. Death rates are 10-40x higher with the COVID vaccine than any other vaccine. The studies are pretty clear on this. See https://wordsalad.info/tag-vaccinebadstudy.html.

Are you still under the impression that the vaccines prevent you from getting Covid?

No, it's pretty clear that any protection from infection, especially against the later variants, wanes pretty quickly.

It's also pretty clear that the mRNA vaccines provide good protection against serious disease and death.

This article says that exposure to spike protein is causing the issues.

Can you point me to any literature that shows someone with 2, 3 or 4 vaccines and then a subsequent Covid infections would be exposed to less spike proteins than someone who only experienced a Covid infection?

No, but then I’m not the one claiming the vaccines are causing disease.

The article said that spike proteins are causing the microvascular disease.

Spike proteins are created by the vaccine and by Covid (as you initially, accurately pointed out).

Unless you are claiming that getting the vaccine prevents you from catching Covid OR that getting the vaccine decreases your spike protein exposure during a subsequent Covid infection to such a degree that the spike proteins created from 4 shots + the reduced spike proteins from Covid are less than the exposure from an unvaccinated Covid infection.... than you agree that getting the vaccine exposes you to MORE spike protein and thus you are more likely to get the microvascular disease mentioned in this article.

I don't know but given that the vaccines obviously have a big impact on the severity of the disease it's plausible that they decrease the spike protein load.

Again, I'm not the one making the claim - the author is - and the article doesn't back up the claim in the headline.

I'll throw this in, small vessel disease related...

A Case of Leukocytoclastic Vasculitis Following SARS-COV-2 Vaccination

...but especially for this reason...

... Leukocytoclastic vasculitis (LCV) is a small-vessel vasculitis that has been associated with other immunizations, but, to our knowledge, has not been previously reported in association with vaccines directed against SARS-CoV-2.

The bold is mine.

They knew.

Thanks for the warning shot. I wouldn’t be taking NAC if it weren’t for my vaxxine adverse reaction. I’m taking quite a few other things that I will also wean off of when the conditions are right.

Everything is a poison, it’s just the dose that determines it.

I did use some of the pine bark tea that was given to me. I’m looking forward to the day I don’t have to take anything again.
