The Trump administration pressured the Food and Drug Administration, including former FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn, to authorize unproven treatments for Covid-19 and the first Covid-19 vaccines on an accelerated timeline, according to a report released Wednesday by Democrats on the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis.

Only among people with a very short memory. If people in the FDA and CDC believed the vaccines were not adequately tested and were unsafe, they could have issued public statements at the time. They could have refused authorization for their use. They didn't.

Exactly. The White House wanted an earlier rollout of the vaccine before the election but the FDA said no and the White House eventually relented to the FDA. From the article:

The Trump administration also tried to pressure the FDA to authorize the first Covid-19 vaccines ahead of the presidential election. When Hahn testified to the subcommittee in January 2022, he said that White House officials said they would not sign off on emergency use authorization language that required a 60-day safety follow up for late-stage clinical trials. Ultimately, the FDA went ahead with the 60-day follow-up plan without an explicit blessing from the White House, though the White House later cleared it.

Biden Losing Patience with Unvaccinated.

I'm aware. My point is, when the Dems 'run away from the vax' , there will be no more pushing the vax or 'losing patience'.

The whole 'losing patience' rigamarole was the Derps pushing the vax. Once admit they suck and try to blame Trump, then no more pushing.

You are correct on all counts.

However, when has the truth deterred the media and the left from a narrative?

I am not trying to be snarky - simply stating what I view as a FACT.

Hindsight is always 20/20, but I would bet even Trump will admit that he should have followed his gut on therapeutics AND on obtaining differing opinions (he did try).

A fair assessment would lay most of the blame at the feet of Fauci, Birx, and our idiot media AFTER we blame China. I am not holding my breath. FRegards.

I read this tripe, Trump administration advocated Hydroxychloroquine and herd immunity, no mention of ivermectin.
Joe poopant mandated vaccination and killed many businesses while squandering a robust economy. What exactly are these idiots thinking by highlighting bidens and the cdc anti-Trump factions failures ?

Do you really think they care at this point that this makes Biden look bad?

Anthony Soprano is indeed awesome.

I could be awesome. I’d still have to bum rides off other people.

Besides, I passed out at 31 Flavors last night.

But it wasn’t the vaxx.....🤣😁😜

The FDA, and Pfizer as well.

Which, I'm guessing, is why Trump kept mentioning his role in getting the vaccine out for so long. It had to be frustrating, thinking that it could have changed election results if it came out a week before the election.

But it's long past time to realize that the whole thing was a sham and let it go.

A friend who has top secret clearance managed a very specialized department in the national security realm. He was fired for exhibiting medical sovereignty. He’s part of a lawsuit and I hope he destroys the contractor he worked for. My son is a lower level engineer for a space related contractor. He was able to get a religious exemption

Conspiracy theorist say that once everyone knows the “vaccine” is killing and maiming its recipients, they’ll blame everything on Trump.

Trump goes around claiming he is “the Father of the COVID vaccine”. It’s going to bite him in the ass.

Well the FDA waited 9 days after the election to approve the vaccines, so Trump’s pressure was meaningless

Right, wrong, fair, or indifferent, much of the Wuflusanity began on Trumps watch. He should have DEMANDED that fair and objective studies be done on IVM and hydroxychloroquine because his gut was right - they were the most effective tool we had at the time - big pharma be damned.

Trump tried but he gets attacked for every little thing. If Trump tells you to drink 8 glasses of water a day, the media will attack him! TDS!

The villain (s) is not Donald J. Trump, but Pfizer, Moderna and others who have a history of criminal marketing practices that have remained under the cover of darkness in terms of their having paid out huge settlements in such a way that they were able to avoid going to trial and were thus permitted to continue denying wrongdoing while paying to make the charges go away. Thus, their wrongdoing rarely, if ever, sees the light of day.

Kickbacks in the nursing home pharmacy context are particularly nefarious because they can result in excessive prescribing of strong drugs to patients who have little or no control over the medical care they are receiving. … Nursing home doctors should be able to rely on the integrity of the recommendations they receive from pharmacists, and those recommendations should not be a product of money that a drug company is paying to the pharmacy. (US Attorney Carmen Ortiz, quoted in Associated Press 2010).

In addition to the risks to patients, the other side of the coin of corporate gain was the cost to public and private payers. But these interests, like those of patients, were not represented when J&J implemented a strategy of, in effect, purchasing Omnicare's nursing home pharmacists to act as an extension of its own sales force. The charges against J&J have not been proven in court, nor are they likely to be. Corporations prefer not to go to trial; rather, they negotiate a settlement that will permit them to continue denying wrong-doing while paying to make the charges go away. (Such settlements may, however, include a formal guilty plea on one or more criminal charges.) Omnicare, as it happens, settled related charges last November for a payment of $98 million to the United States and state governments (Associated Press 2010); with that case settled, J&J will probably choose the same option. The only real issue in dispute will be the size of the penalties. The amount of money involved in this case is in fact very small potatoes. J&J will probably pay a couple of hundred million in fines and civil penalties. The stakes were somewhat higher last September, when Pfizer and related companies settled a number of charges for a total of $2.3 billion (O'Reilly and Capaccio 2009). This settlement set a new record for a criminal fine – $1.2 billion – plus civil penalties of $1 billion. Subsidiary Pharmacia & Upjohn pleaded guilty to one count of a felony, misbranding of a pharmaceutical, and was assessed a forfeiture of $100 million.

It is not out of question to believe that prior to 2024 the left will blame Trump and Warp Speed for the fact that the vaccines were dangerous, fatal, crippling, and did not work.

If it becomes the only way to stop Trump the Deep State will indeed throw their beloved vaccine under the bus.

They've already told Fauci to leave.

Fair enough - it’s not a deal breaker to me but I also don’t think Warp Speed is something to brag about in hindsight.

We are just beginning to see the damage from the vaccines and it seems certain that its worse than we think at the moment. I have been reading quite a bit about it lately and its shocking. Criminal.

I don’t really see another play for the media on the subject of vaccines or Trump.

They are going to wrap it all around his neck and try again to drown him with it.

Good post and you are right.....

On the subject the book by RFKjr is a must read. We just got Naomi Wolf’s new book.

The numbers we are seeing are SHOCKING and there is no way to hide it. The actuarial numbers are bigger than I feared they would be....

I guess they are not sure that the raid on Mar-a-Lago had the desired results.

On to plan two....... blame Trump for all the bad results from the vaccines.
