I dont know how they could be worse than what McDonalds has become. I sure do miss what the dbl quarter pounder with cheese used to be.
Oddly enough, just had the best quarter pounder with cheese 2 nights ago. I even went back to tell them it was the best (ate in the car in the parking lot). Plus with my BOGO coupon I got two for $5.87.
I got two more last night at a different McD. Plus $1 Coke.
They were nearly as good. It was about $6.89 for two 1/4 lb with cheese and large Coke. 2nd is in the fridge for lunch.
I only try to go to the McD with the best prices around here.
And I always use a coupon.

I often wonder about that. When I was a kid I absolutely loved the quarter pounder and cherished the rare treat when dad would take us to McDonalds. Now, the thought of McDonalds makes me want to vomit. Is it that kids sense of taste are just so incredibly undeveloped, or was it really as good as I remember and then devolved to puketastic?

Not only has the food gone WAY down in quality, but they’ve also made it harder to order. The menu doesn’t even have the breakfast I like so I have to go through the drive thru as they no longer man the register at the counter in the morning. They have my preferred item on their register. Also, the layout of the do it yourself order menu is not logical. So, I’ve stopped going to McDonalds and I won’t be going back.
