The woman was pregnant and had other small children in the car. She slowed down immediately and put on her flashers, but drove about 1 1/2 miles to a well-lighted gas station, since she was on a dark isolated road.
The officer was irate that she had not pulled over immediately.
I think every woman (indeed every driver) is entitled to wait for a safe area to stop. There are too many creeps that figure out how to put flashing lights on their car.
