My father developed in later life the need to prove everyone wrong. If you said something was white, he’d swear it was black. Since then, I’ve noticed this inability to reason beyond yelling the opposite in doses large and small in a whole range of people. My sister called it “contrarianism.”

Contrarianism runs in my family. I've dealt with it my whole life, and I have contrarian tendencies too.

However, I can be persuaded, but I have also noticed that many people cannot be persuaded. They simply want to believe whatever it is that they believe, and if facts are presented that contradict what they wish to believe, it is just so much worse for the facts!

Pfizer never tried to stop the release of this data. The FDA wanted to release it slowly because they said they didn’t have the resources to quickly redact participant information.

That sounds like an absolute lie. On what planet would it take 75 years to redact participant information?

And one would think this issue would be regarded as one with extremely high importance.

Headline does *NOT* say that. It says "died/ had permanent injury".

More than 1 billion people have taken the vaccine. Please show me the 310 million dead people. Geez use your head for a change.

False premise. We do not know the percentage of people who died in the trials, we know the combined quantity who died and had permanent injury.

Until those numbers are separated out, you cannot project them onto a billion people.

For all we know, 310 million people do indeed have some sort of permanent vax injury.
