I'm for the "Traditional Republican Party"

Right. We were all so enamored with GWB. He was the bridge between the Country Club and the Reagan Right.

But we saw that type of Republican get their butts kicked in Washington.

Enter Trump. No morality tests apply. With no concerns in that department, how do we lose? One thing GWB said that echoes true today: "you're either with us or against us"

I decided to look up what the primary differences were between the Whigs and the Republicans in the 1850's, when the Whigs basically disappeared and the Republicans ended up with Abraham Lincoln. Here's what I found:

On January 21 2021 I went down to our local registrar and changed my affiliation to Independent.
