Growing up I was taught looking at a person’s skin color was judgmental and I should see a person for what’s inside of them......boy that sure has changed....and not for the better I might add.
I bought my first property in 1966.
Family next door had 4 kids. 3 were middle/high school when I moved there.
I had heard all my life about how GREAT the California schools were.
They went to the store for me-—and when I gave them $$$ in advance-—the high school girl COULD NOT MAKE CORRECT CHANGE for a dollar. I AM NOT KIDDING.
I went to a one room school in rural Wisconsin with 14 kids—8 grades—1 teacher who had 2 years of college.
When I went back to college night school to get Accounting classes-—I was NOT the smartest one in the class-—I was #2 with a 4.0 grade in every class I took.
Remember the heroic fight to close the academic achievement gap in K-12 schools? Billions of dollars and years wasted to have either exactly the same or statistically insignificant improvements which were probably altered to look good.
When facts were presented at any time such as in the Bell Curve books they were denounced as racist but were still facts. New strategy is to disallow test scores and SAT comparisons since minorities lose on them.

Last night on Joel Osteen at Yankee Stadium he told his story of when he was a 4ft tall boy trying to sneak out of a yard where a vicious and huge German shepherd wanted to tear him to pieces.
He couldn’t have usually done it but he took a run at the tall chain link fence, managed to grasp the top with one hand somehow and pulled himself over the top just in time.
