It’s bad politics to pick on a stroke victim. It’s very bad policy to elect a stroke victim, however. So in order to avoid stupidly garnishing enough sympathy votes for Futterman to drag his addled carcass over the finish line, it behooves the Oz campaign to fight smart, and realize that the Futterman supporters are nuts, which is why they’re pushing for yet another brain-damaged moron to hold high office. So neutralize their craziness. Avoid arousing sympathy votes, and consign Futterman to the care of a full-time home health aid.
