A car belonging to the daughter of famous Russian political scientist and philosopher Alexander Dugin exploded late Saturday in Moscow, according to media reports.
Darya Dugina’s car exploded on Mozhayskoye highway around 9.45 p.m. local time, with witnesses claiming the blast rocked the vehicle in the middle of the road and scattered debris.
Preliminary reports said she died instantly. The elder Dugin has arrived at the scene, according to a video on social media.
There is no official confirmation or information on the cause of the explosion.
It is unclear if the explosion was an assassination attempt targeting her father, who has been described as the “brain” of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Darya Dugina, like her father, was engaged in journalism, philosophy and political science.

So....this guy is Putin’s own Rasputin?
It’s never been a “Civil War.” Had it been a civil war Russians from Moscow would not have been required to steal the Crimean parliament at gun point. Had it be a genuine civil war Kharkiv, mere miles from the border, would not still be in Kyiv’s hands. Etc., etc.
How is that “cauldron” of Ukrainian troops you promised near six months ago coming along? We’re still waiting on it. Russia and its Potemkin army are the laughing stock of the world now.
I’m sure you’re quite excited by this killing, Jez.
Agree. Could be an accident, too. Also, Might check under the Muslim rocks since Dugin is a big time Russian Supremacist. I can see Muslims taking offense to that. Moscow has a huge muslim population. Millions.
It’s a civil war.
“She may have not been the target.
Maybe bad intel had her daddy in the car?”
She was acceptable collateral damage to someone.
I'm backing DeSantis these days.
On.
No, I do not think so, although his death would be welcome by many opposing Russia. Killing him would not end the war in Ukraine while revealing that someone has the ability to assassinate people in Putin's sphere of influence in Moscow. Assassinating someone who's death will not change any outcome, while revealing the ability to assassinate Putin's allies in Moscow, is not worth it.
For now, a car accident is more likely explanation.
I want on this list. Thanks.
The Ukrainians do not have the tactical capability to carry out such a car bombing in Russia.
The CIA has the capability but would not in Russia.
In my opinion that makes the most likely perpetrator Russia’s FSB(successor to the KGB).
I recall that the assassination of the original Rasputin was carried out by noblemen loyal to the Czar, who wanted to get rid of a “bad influence”. History doesn’t repeat, but sometimes it rhymes.
You support Z and Avov, the EU and Soros and Biden. So whatever....
I doubt that Putin “believes in” Dugin’s “ideology” in any straightup way. He just pretends to embrace it, as a cynical way to garner nationalist support for the aggression his intel-mafia regime finds desirable. He real ideology is “kiss the hand you cannot bite”.
No, it's an invasion, Comrade DJ.
Summary -- Cheap Russian gas turns out to be very expensive and comes with invasions.
That may be true. Putin may be doing nothing more than following the advice with an eye on retaining power. But the fact that Dugin advised on keeping Ukraine within the influence of Russia makes him a target.
