It’s never been a “Civil War.” Had it been a civil war Russians from Moscow would not have been required to steal the Crimean parliament at gun point. Had it be a genuine civil war Kharkiv, mere miles from the border, would not still be in Kyiv’s hands. Etc., etc.
How is that “cauldron” of Ukrainian troops you promised near six months ago coming along? We’re still waiting on it. Russia and its Potemkin army are the laughing stock of the world now.
