I don't know where they went, but they were here at least an hour according to their vehicles. I never saw them. I even walked over the bridge to the school side of the creek. Assessing maybe? I had no idea how MUCH STUFF there was...

This is the only mess I can see from the deck.

Here I'm standing on the bridge that goes from my cul-de-sac over the creek to the school yard. My jungle to the left, city propery to the right, with a dam forming in the middle.

Maybe they walked up and down the creek to see how many other spots are getting blocked like your area. Get it all at once, whenever they decide to get around to it. As I recall, the whole creek is jungly and there’s probably a lot of tree trash along its course.
