Early bedtime for sure tonight. Another short night last night. Just after 4a a plane flew over the house that was VERY loud and seemed VERY VERY low. I don’t think any passenger planes fly at that time, but maybe cargo. I kept listening for trouble.

SF Bay Area here. Yesterday about 2:47 PM Pacific Time I heard (but did not see) an INCREDIBLY loud plane go by, westbound. I expected to see some sort of military aircraft, but it was gone.

Planes that you don’t usually see or hear or whatever cause a bit of concern.

I live pretty close to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage...last 2 days I’ve been hearing jets over the city. Unusual except when practicing for air shows (which was a couple weeks ago).

I know the russians have been probing and I always wonder what might be going on.

Hmmmmmm, Didn’t I just see something about a test being done in the Pacific? Two similar incidents, though at different times of day.

I didn’t think about Elmendorf. I wonder if it was one of their planes, though why it was low over town is the question. If it was one of theirs, it would have been westbound since it went over the house and apparently in a hurry. Over town rather than out over the water.

I hate not being able to see what’s going on up there! They need to get that cam working again!
