Who would go back to a gas station where the pumps weren’t working?
people with masks
If this PC 'windmill' choice wasn't so elite this news would have been all over the country.
Liberals will have us back on horses soon, until they decide to also ban grain and grass stalk.
Wait until everybody is driving an EV. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
only good around town and you charge at home...
would you here in your electric car
IN JULY 1986, Life magazine described Nevada’s Highway 50 from Baker to Dayton as the “Loneliest Road in America.” Life recommended that drivers have “survival skills” to travel the route. The Highway 50 Survival Guide is a challenge to travelers to learn for themselves about America’s Loneliest Road. Take the trip across Nevada’s backcountry, stop in any five of the seven largest towns (Baker, Ely, Eureka, Austin, Fallon, Dayton, and Fernley) to get your Official Highway 50 Survival Guide validated.
What if terrorists spent a little time knocking out and sabotaging various charging posts? Sorry to give them an idea but they probably figured that out.
EV drivers now stranded could hitchhike for rides from passing gas vehicles.
The local ferals will strip the EV chargers for the copper wire.
It is a great drive not flat you go over four or five mountain ranges...and flat land between them.....no trees on the mountains
Forgot that.
Thought of catalytic converter metal thieves but copper wire theft slipped past my mind.

according to the local police, CAT thieves target Prius because they not often use gas, so the CAT is in almost pristine condition and more valuable to steal.
That being said, here is another consideration.
Electric Vehicles May Present Major Problem During Natural Disaster Evacuations: Experts (8.11.22)
Insights welcome.
All of that is totally true, however, none of that applies to the "EV King" Tesla in any way - it continues to power ahead (pun intended). Tesla is so far ahead of the rest of the auto industry it's not even funny. The Tesla CEO Elon Musk anticipated all those current charging station issues at least a decade ago. So Tesla already has a huge, highly reliable network of charging stations for Tesla EV owners. That's part of the reason why the rest of the industry is light-years behind Tesla. There was a recent report in which Musk said that demand for Tesla EVs is way higher than the supply. Presumably, Tesla's EV supply is still somewhat impacted by the global supply shortage of computer chips. My guess is Tesla is far more successful sourcing needed computer chips than the rest of the global auto industry, which as I said, is way behind Tesla in EVs. And who knows? The huge gap between Tesla and the rest of the global auto industry may still be widening as we speak.
As the article makes clear, no terrorist required to put 20% out of commission.
And if those 20% just happen to be in a cluster, enjoy the walk, or UBER.
I am surprised more chargers are not out of order and expect the percentage to CLIMB as more ham-fisted folk who cannot handle even the most trivial physical task buy EV’s.
All the charge stations I have seen are unattended, so fools and drunks/druggies trying to force the plug to fit (Whattaya mean they are not all the same?) have no supervision.
Y’all going to get the oversized electric golf kart fanbois all upset.
Liberal virtue signaling is sacred stuff.
Your local police are ignorant.
Prius runs on gas most of the time and to keep the batteries up.
Batteries provide brief surge power, up hill for example.
Thieve target them because they are Easier to remove than most other cars.
The EV manufacturers just need to put a small wind turbine on the roof of every vehicle and voila!, unlimited range. Wile E Coyote had nothing on liberal “ingenuity.”
that’s what they said, I just report it lol
