Ray Epps, an Arizona man who has been the focus of conspiracy theories that federal agents plotted the Jan. 6 riot, reportedly told the FBI that he expected a bomb to go off near the U.S. Capitol during the preceding "Stop the Steal" rally.
Epps acknowledged during two FBI interviews last year, which were reviewed by The Epoch Times, that he trespassed on restricted Capitol grounds and urged other protesters to enter the building
The FBI has never arrested Epps, despite the confessions, nor has the Justice Department charge him with any Jan. 6-related crimes.

Did Ray Epps have inside information there would be pipe bomb attacks at the capitol? Did he receive this information from inside FBI sources? Was Ray Epps an FBI operative? He said he was not.
So after all this time, this is what they’ve come up with?
And the let Sullivan walk after filming Ashly Babbitt being murdered and saying, on camera, that they were “gonna burn the motherf***er down”, IIRC.

Good questions. To me, this thing has the stink of a coverup. Until the FBI explains why Epps has never been arrested, while numerous others are rotting away in jail, I’m going to assume he was an informant or working undercover.
It is pretty big news if Ray Epps was expecting a pipe bomb attack. I don’t think they found out who planted the bomb. How could he have known this? Was he well connected in LEO information sources? That is my question. Isn’t this curious?

Why would they arrest their buddy Ray who helped stir up crap for them at the crapital? That wouldn’t make much sense would it

I think they arrested Sullivan after outrage that he was not charged. I feel sorry for the guy because of his family situation, but he did lots more than people who are also charged.
Did Epps just reveal himself to be one of the conspirators involved in the two bombs that were planted?

The timing of the “discovery” of the “bombs” is everything here.
Totally coordinated, and Epps’ job is to provide that cover. One might ask how much he was compensated, cash or other, for that work.
Job no. 1 of the reconstituted “Jan 6 Committee” on Jan 3, 2023, should be to subpoena Epp’s bank accounts.
I thought his charges had been dropped. Interesting.
Unlike the folks rotting in DC, he’s out and about. Betting that they’ll never get to him.
this may confirm my “hunch” based on other things I have heard about the ill-fated day. if I am right, the answer could come collectively from the POW’s. What if they are asked not about their guilt or innocence, but about what they may have witnessed.
there were reports of tear gas being fired into the crowd BEFORE the chaos started. Also reports of some partisans trying to defend the capital against agitators. Perhaps one or more of the POW’s saw something, reported something, disabled something - or witnessed other covert actions that wouldn’t be welcomed when the defense presented their case in public.
Hence they remain POW’s until their captors extract the desire confessions. I have seen this tactic before - folks kept in custody in harsh conditions just so they couldn’t testify.
Yeah, just a theory, but it makes sense if a known CI went on record saying a bomb was SUPPOSED to go off.
