I just listened to Donna brazillllllle on the abc round table talking about Trump being above the law!! Just too good.
Now I'm recalling her and the mayor of dc at the killing of Seth Rich at the MED STAR hospital in dc the night he was killed by dr. Jack Sava. Those two were there to make sure he didn't come out alive and she's worried that Trump is above the law.

I doubt it would ever reach the write-in stage. SCOTUS would rule on it well before.
The Dems would like DOJ to indict Trump before the midterms. They will try to make the midterm elections a referendum on Trump.

They also hope to provoke a violent reaction among Trump supporters so they can brand them all as insurrectionists. The Reps have the advantage now in terms of voter enthusiasm.

The Dems need to galvanize their base to increase turnout.

SCOTUS with traitor Roberts as possible swing is not a good scenario.

Agree on this is meant to further the Jan 6 narrative re reactions......

A woman gets to me “ murdered” and people get stalag like imprisonments and the media views those as non events.

Instead their Trump syndrome has been enhanced by these recent events.

clip from:

by Martin Gurri former cia analyst
covered by clarice Feldman
.....................
...........
The second theme follows from the first. The elites are convinced that their control over American society is slipping away. They have conquered the presidency, both houses of Congress, and the entirety of our culture; yet their mood is one of panic and resentment. Trump, they are certain, will return to Twitter. There, as Obama warned, he will spew toxic clouds of disinformation and poison the minds of a gullible public. Attempts to enforce truth by legal means will be foiled by Trumpist judges like Mizelle. Inevitably, Trump will be reelected, and a revanchist holocaust will ensue.

To conservatives and Republicans, this rending of garments will appear disingenuous. After all, if you are obsessed with control, you will never get enough of it. But there’s no necessary contradiction between the two perspectives: you can be addicted to control and aware of its loss. In a vague and inchoate way, the progressive elites sense that they have power but lack authority. They live in dread of a reversal in the tide of history that will bestow the future to the worst kind of people and the bloody idols they worship.

Nunez on Maria says this raid is about deep state grabbing the documents Trump declassified re - The ongoing evidence FBI and others have targeted Trump since day 1. When Trump declassified, FBI refused to allow release.

By grabbing documents, they will never see light of day.

So- Since docs are declassified, Trump has backups not seized and will release at appropriate time!!!

Lets hope so.

Thats why I think they will try to charge him with something re Jan 6 to , in their minds, destroy his credibility beforehand.

Powell v. McCormack, 395 U.S. 486 (1969), is a United States Supreme Court case that held that the Qualifications of Members Clause of Article I of the US Constitution is an exclusive list of qualifications of members of the House of Representatives, which may exclude a duly-elected member for only those reasons enumerated in that clause.

I believe a similar ruling on the Presidency would be issued by SCOTUS. The Constitution defines the eligibility requirements to run for President. Insurrection would be the only grounds to prevent Trump from running. DOJ has not charged any J6 defendant with insurrection.

Thanks, as always appreciate your concise info to help clarify concerns.

Here's another really good quote from Gurri that just had to be repeated:

https://www.city-journal.org/the-elite-panic-of-2022

Two clear themes emerged from the noise surrounding this pseudo-event. The first is that the people in charge of American politics and culture are obsessed with control and hostile to any principle that might interfere with it. After expelling Trump and edging out founder Jack Dorsey, Twitter had evolved into a gated community for progressive-minded elites, with heretical opinions on race and Covid-19, for example, ever more tightly policed. Musk calls himself a “free speech absolutist.” He had attempted to purchase the platform with the aim of returning it to a more “neutral” posture.

Roberts could switch, but it is a 6-3 court. Someone else would need to go over to the dark side.

Wow …..Ben Domenech and liberal strategist Laura Fink are having a slugfest on Howie Kurtz’s Media Buzz show. She says “ far right” is inciting violence to individuals in organizations like the FBI, who she thinks need to be “revered.” The look on Ben’s face was priceless, as he began to reel off the names in the FBI who have attempted to take Pres. Trump out.

I hope you are wrong.

I’m sure you do, too!

However, think about all the Trump-endorsed candidates that won their primaries. When they win, they will be beholden to Donald, not Kevin or Mitch.

Not only does this add to our favor, but I do believe this big segment of the GOP will put the fire to the RINOs like they’ve never seen before.

The RINOs will have a choice:

Trump bandwagon, or Lizard Cheney’s?

Even Mittens will try to grow a spine (for political posturing for the next election—he’s up in 2024).

They already voted on Friday. The Senate passed it under reconciliation so they avoided the filibuster.

The House voted 220-207, with no Republicans joining democrats in supporting the act. 4 Republicans didn’t vote—sick or something.

It now sits on Biden’s desk awaiting his scrawly X.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Totally. I’m just in a super negative environment right now. It’s got me down pretty deep and I’m having trouble pulling myself up by the bootstraps.

I’ll hang on to all the “positives” you noted so I maybe won’t sink any further ... thanks! :-)

I wonder what would happen if the Trump cheat states of Pennsylvania, Georgia (controlled by Kemp), Michigan and Minnesota did that?

Very near blood in the streets, which Biden could use to declare martial law and “cancel” the election.

These bastards are going to break—are breaking—the Republic in their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

So did anybody on any of the talk shows say anything about when the IRS will open all of the unopened mail that has been piling up, and start answering the phone?? That would be useful information, but likely to get lost in all of the rhetoric.

House Dems are making noises they will not vote for Manchin side deal that supports fossil fuel and nuclear development...

Say what??? The Manchin compromises have to be passed separately as a singular bill? Who would fall for that?

This is like Reagan signing on for amnesty because the borders were going to be secured right away.

No way the Dems can stop Trump from running

Judging from the way the GOP has marshaled the troops to support DJT, they may not have to.

Nope. Today’s narrative is Trump, Trump, TRUMP!

If the monstrosity of a bill gets any airtime, it will be all about “saving” the planet from Climate Change, lower drug prices, and electric cars for everyone.

No words about reducing inflation, it doesn’t, which is why they dare not say its name, or the Murder, Inc. IRS army.

Sooner or later folks are gonna realize that it is no longer Democrats vs. Republicans, rather it is the People vs. the politicians.

Meanwhile, I’ve got some Redenbacher’s that needs some tending before I choose a movie for this afternoon’s nap

Maria is just hitting it out of the park today with her questions and comments to Nunes and Patel.

And their vast information about the issues gets back to my thinking about the Feds. There does seem to be people of certain political persuasions from top down who are assigned particular cases. The whole nine yards of the institution just can't be corrupted. Many rank and file must be decent people.

Years ago, during the Bush years or maybe early Obama, Lazamataz wrote an excellent article on the new political dynamic; elites versus the people.

This predated Trump by many years.

Laz, do you still have that?

You should repost it!
