Fun fact: She was pregnant in that photo.
Came for the Herb Alpert cover, goes away happy.
The album cover is seen briefly in the movie The Big Lebowski when the Dude is looking through Maude’s record collection. It is also seen in The Boondock Saints when Rocco frantically gathers his possessions after killing three associates in a diner. It is seen among other period albums early in The Honeymoon Killers, and can also be spotted in the living room of the Weir household in multiple episodes of Freaks and Geeks.
I own a copy of that album.
I have that album cover. And the album.
Thanks, Mom and Dad! :)
I fantasized about that one as an adolescent.
I just got through sending my post. When I worked at the record dept. of Korvette’s (discount dept. store) teenage boys had a crush on that woman.
It was 1965, I was 14, and Mom & Dad had that album on our stereo console. She was my very first love! I dreamt nonstop about what was under that whipped cream. Mom wouldn’t let me go see the “Goldfinger” movie, but they left that album conspicuously out. It was pure torture.
It wasn’t long after that I discovered dad’s friend “Chuck” had a huge stash of Playboy magazines in his basement. Suddenly, it was a lot more fun to visit Chuck and his family.
LOL! I was just thinking of that album cover when I read the title of this post!
Now I am thinking of the photo of Howard Stern with two bikinied beauties, one whose bikini was made of whipped cream. (No one else on our work crew who saw the photo noticed it but me!)
Thank you!
I remember looking on that with awe in my parents’ record collection. I was probably 8 or 9, and not sure what I was looking at, but it sure was interesting!
My mother bought it and it was was my favorite in 1965. Sigh...
