These liars and criminals in government, and the intentional idiots and morons who believe them, are why America is in so much trouble. The mindless dims have been endlessly told that the 5th is the "right against self incrementation". Because of this warped wording they believe that, "when you are guilty you don't have to say so". The implications are obvious and the biased media pushes the lies.

In fact our constitution states: "[no one] shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself". They are not at all the same thing, and this pos knows it.

Trump is simply using his God given right to not be compelled to be a witness against himself. Considering the blatant abuses of power and outright crimes the left has committed in trying to railroad him, not cooperating with them is exactly what he should be doing.

Trump did not plead anything.
He Invoked the 5th which is available to all.
His reason, well founded mistrust of the illicit government.

I seriously doubt Trump has any idea what is in his tax returns. I imagine he has a department full of people who do them.

“Goldman is no stranger to Trump.

The former federal prosecutor, who is now running for Congress as a Democrat, served as lead counsel in both impeachment cases against Trump.”

Part of the gang. He would fit right in with Schiff, Nadler, and Raskin.

It’s anarchy now. No 5th. No 4th No 1st. No 2nd, nearly. Soon we’ll be quartering FBI and soldiers.

The Marxists have shredded and abandoned the Constitutions of the Republic.

Trump invoked the 5th to avoid a trumped up charge of perjury and trial before a kangaroo court. Just as Roger Stone and Scooter Libby should have done.

Members of the BAR are officers of the court and cannot occupy a seat in any extrajudicial agency without violating the separation of powers.

IIRC, before the War Between the States, there was a Constitutional amendment proposed that would have denied members of the bar positions in extrajudicial governmental situations.

5th amendment bypass............. I don’t recall, I’m being confused with someone else, I wasn’t informed, I have no knowledge of it, I was baking cookies with my daughters, and the missing documents were only correspondence with my chiropractor.

For the record, the 5A says NOTHING about incrimination AT ALL. It DOES state directly that an accused cannot be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself. And there it is. That's it. NOTHING about incrimination, which is making someone APPEAR guilty of a crime or wrongdoing.

The 5th is a polite way of saying: “Fu** Off”. “Do the job yourself and quit expecting me to help you!”
