Thats what I was wondering. He knew he had a mole, allowed the “info”out to that person, and let things take their course. Now he knows who was disloyal, and he gets a great opportunity to showcase the corruption.
If I didn’t know any better, I’d swear a trusted Trump associate conned them into thinking there was some damning evidence — like maybe the car keys to The Beast — in the safe.
