Turtle....why he did it? Because IMO, the political currents flowed that way at the time. IMO you give him WAY too much credit for him selfishly doing the right thing for self preservation, and seemingly credit it as virtue - when his career is one of a politician, not a statesman. And then you’re trying to influence others to do the same. That is not helpful in the least, don’t you see that FRiend?
He violates his oath of office every day by not honoring the Constitution above politics, and we still allow him to hold that office to the detriment of our society and posterity.
