As I keep trying to tell people, DeSantis is an ally of Trump and is not going to run against him. He’s the heir apparent. There’s no need to try to take out the boss when he will inherit the mantle just 4 years later. He’s a young guy. He can just wait it out while he governs Florida for a 2nd term.
