The fears of the Birchers, New American etc. seem to be that the Convention cannot be “managed” once it starts. Levin points out this is indeed specious.

What if— tectonically speaking, the 17th Amendment is removed!! Yikes— the globalists who put it in to stop the State Legislatures from representing their States with appointed (thus elected) Senators— would freak out!!

Just checking the last Senate vote would reveal who owns whom, and would have made Kamala Harris an impossibility as even a Senator.

I understand how the Article 5 Convention is restricted in its format and has states still as protectors from the results purportedly but I am a student of history.

Those working with and supporters of the Article of Confederation, our first government, allowed a limited convention that went free range and through it all out with a new constitution.

Once a convention is convened NOTHING will stop where it leads.

Well, repealing the 17th amendment probably wouldn’t change much.

It’s the 19th that’s got to go.
