That's an interesting way of saying "Don't vote for me".

You mean like Adam Kinzinger or Peter Meijer? No thanks.

They do not want Trump to run, because they may end up in front of firing squads. That's why they do not go into the why he shouldn't run.

[These blue state Repubs never learn. They try to appease the left by being liberal “republicans”. Instead of offering a real choice. These blue state voters can see that their societies are falling apart from leftist policies. So why not appeal to them and say hey, here’s a new path to take. Let’s try MAGA. But nope, they prefer to be a designated loser trying to be Dem-light.]

I may be wrong, but I think it may go deeper than that. O’Dea may be measuring the drapes for the Oval Office. The guy figures he’ll do what Trump did - make a run at the White House. Why not get a head start, for 2024, on knocking off both Biden and Trump at the same time? I think he’s jumping the gun, big time.

A Republican cannot win the WH without Trump supporters.

I’d say he can’t win a Senate seat without Trump supporters either. He’s really jumping the gun - counting his chickens before they hatch. This should be an interesting race, given how quick he was to blurt out what, on the surface, are politically-questionable remarks. Is this something we should expect on a regular basis throughout the campaign? Stay tuned.

Isn’t “move forward” a Democrat catch phrase...slogan?

he obviously doesn’t want to win.

funny, true story: I had a dream recently wherein I chewed out Mitt Romney to his face because he and McCain were such weak nominees...and in my dream, I only realized it was after I walked away from him that I thought, “Oh, hey, that was Mitt Romney I was talking to!”

:-D

Would it have killed him simply to say he will support the Republican nominee? That’s what I have done as a voter, even when the nominee is not someone I supported in the primary (e.g. 2008 and 2012). If he wants the support of Republican voters, he can at least give back that much. If he is elected, I hope he doesn’t turn out to be a yellowbelly such as former Governor Rauner of Illinois, who headed for the hills whenever Trump was in the state.

That tells me essentially nothing about what he stands for, except that he is trying to sound like a fiscal conservative. However all the “I’ll reach across the aisle” types are the same ones who voted for the huge transportation and chip subsidy boondoggles.

Here's the question directly from the survey (I only posted a few, the link was there to follow):

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Defending Working Americans. When I say working Americans, I mean small business owners, I mean the people who work, who contribute, who play by the rules. Working Americans are being ignored by Washington.

I want an America for your grandkids and mine that values and rewards hard work.

Washington isn’t focused on working people. And those policies have deep consequences. Out-of-control inflation, taxation, and red tape are destroying the value of work in our country. When everything costs more, your paycheck is worth less, and your work is devalued. That’s wrong.

Here’s something you should know about inflation. The biggest driver of inflation is the embrace of socialism by the political elites in Washington. They are funding a massive expansion of the federal government by printing money – and dumping all that printed money into the economy causes inflation.

Reducing the Debt. Out of control debt at the federal level is a moral issue. We are saddling our kids and grandkids with huge debts that will only be paid for with huge tax increases.

The national debt is currently $28 trillion. That’s more than $85,000 for every man, woman, and child in America. And it’s even more – about $225,000 – for every U.S. taxpayer.

I will be the kind of leader who has the back of the men and women who wear the uniform. That means I will stand with our police and firefighters. And I’ll defend and fight for the men and women in our armed services each and every day.

Please not that I'm not advocating for him, I just found this information and zeroed in on the "reach across the aisle" nonsense. I don't trust any Republicans who's main value driver is reaching across the aisle.

VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT. THIS HOW THE RINOs shaft us everytime. A RINO in public office NEVER helps conservatives and blocks that slot from a real conservative
