Many leading Nazis escaped to South America with the help of the Catholic Church. Not one of the Church’s best moments, obviously.

Seems to me the Catholic Church could best be measured in the two or three good days they’ve had in the past 2000 years. It would be easier than recalling their “bad moments.”
Wow, what did that article really show? One Austria archbishop who was a Nazi sympathizer helped people whom he seemed to know were Nazis. The other examples: some did not even mention the Church and one of those mentioned the CIA!— others mentioned that people had false documents.
