When she appeared in a German court last month, Irmgard Furchner sat in a wheelchair clutching her handbag. Her mask and kerchief made it difficult to see the face of the 97-year-old — who has been charged with more than 11,000 counts of “aiding and abetting” murder during the Holocaust.
The nursing-home resident was a secretary in the commandant’s office of the Stutthof concentration camp near Danzig, and is now among the latest former Nazis to be prosecuted in Germany.

Exactly. They should be remembered as well. I try to state that 10-11 million people were exterminated by Nazi policies. Most people aren’t aware of it, nor of Stalin and Mao’s even higher numbers of mass extermination. The selective teaching of history these days is a crime in and of itself.

Von Braun also knew of the camps and the slave labor. He didn't have any control over it.
And that is relevant to this conversation how?
People were talking about modern Germany prosecuting someone from another country, who was never in Germany and who was 12-14 years old during the war as a war criminal.
And you tell me Hitler was Austrian.
Good story.
So, in the course of all of the conversations you’ve had throughout your life, you never had anyone bring additional matters into the discussion? If they did, can I assume that you were rude to them as well?
