Exactly. They should be remembered as well. I try to state that 10-11 million people were exterminated by Nazi policies. Most people aren’t aware of it, nor of Stalin and Mao’s even higher numbers of mass extermination. The selective teaching of history these days is a crime in and of itself.

The error is your making stuff up and trying to sell it as fact.

Speer's case is complicated. He was the only person in Hitler's inner circle who pleaded guilty to all of his charges at Nuremberg. Several Jewish ex-prisoners from the Mettleworks factory testified that they still lived because Speer demanded that the SS increase their rations and sleep periods. Speer convinced several NAZI generals to take a pass on Hitler's scorched earth policy within Germany.
Do you remember Lt. Speer in Band of Brothers? He became the commander of Spandau prison where Albert Speer was incarcerated. Major Speer developed a respect for Albert Speer through conversation.

But later there were pictures of Speer at the death camps, which showed he indeed knew of the Holocaust.

It is also very important to notice that the SS wasn’t the only organization who gathered up Jews. The regular army participated as well.

He knew of it, sure. He was, after all, Minister of Armaments. He didn't make any decisions related to the Holocaust or slave labor; and, the Nuremberg prosecutors could make no connection with Speer. Many from that period will tell you about the compartmentalization of German offices. If it wasn't your business, you didn't open your yap.
Von Braun also knew of the camps and the slave labor. He didn't have any control over it.

And that is relevant to this conversation how?
People were talking about modern Germany prosecuting someone from another country, who was never in Germany and who was 12-14 years old during the war as a war criminal.
And you tell me Hitler was Austrian.
Good story.

So, in the course of all of the conversations you’ve had throughout your life, you never had anyone bring additional matters into the discussion? If they did, can I assume that you were rude to them as well?
